Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

These sibling clubs showcase Francophone variety and rock and roll music.
Used to hang around this live Quebec music bar in Old Montreal in the early 80s. Went back for a nostalgic visit to this bar of my youth and not much has changed. We still drink beer and sing & dance along with the bands ! The crowd is just as enthusiastic as it was 40 years ago even though I have lost a step or two. Vive le Quebec ! La joie de vivre existe encore dans ce bar classic du Vieux Montréal. Salut !

My wife and I had a great dinner and jazz performance by the Fuel Junkies. The food was excellent and plentiful. The music was extraordinary coming from three great sax musicians. Equally entertaining and great musicians were the two guitar players and drummer. I was able to get the last table when I made my reservation for the early show. The table was right in front of the band. The place was packed which is understandable as it is a great venue with excellent jazz performances and reasonably priced food.

Spring 2005, La Distillerie No.1 first saw the day in Montreal, at the corner of Ontario and Sanguinet streets, in the heart of the vibrant Latin Quarter. Founded on a unique concept with the help of a passionate team, La Distillerie sought to introduce its guests to the universe of cocktails. In order to reach more people, we opened two more establishments on the Plateau Mont-Royal and in Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie. We aim to serve a high-quality product in a cozy and convivial atmosphere. Beyond preparing and serving cocktails, we want to create spaces where people can come together and connect, and where you can feel good regardless of your age, where you're from, and whether you've chosen to wear your jogging pants or your bowtie to go out. Whether it's your first or hundredth visit, it'll be a pleasure for us to make you a custom beverage, so don't hesitate to put us to the test!

This is a bar with dragqueen shows in the evening situated in the gay-villeage in Montreal. It also becomes a danse-bar after the shows.
The show was 95% in French, so I couldn’t understand the jokes but the ballets, costumes and music really good.
