We've been to MR Mikes many times for a quick cheaper bite to eat.Last week we went in on a Sat. evening 7ish ordered Red wine the waiter had not been shown how to open or pour the wine. I showed her and all was good.Then when she came back wife ordered pot stickers which they were out..She then ordered something else.I ordered their 3 combo meal... appies, dinner 6oz steak & dessert She told me they where out of 6oz steaks so I said sub for a 8oz I'm ok with that.she came back and said they wouldn't do that ...then a Manager and another manger came by said they wouldn't do this ...I got up and walked out.Never to return.Go to Earls instead.Thanks for your review, Brent, I'm sorry your experience was anything short of fantastic when choosing to dine with us. Great place to meet up with old friends, and enjoy a drink or two and dinner. Excellent service. My liver and onions was perfect, and my friend enjoyed her fish and chips. Great conversation, fairly easy above the noise of being in a bar on a Friday night. Some impromptu entertainment was a bonus.

This location is very busy from noon to about 3:00pm. I ordered the Modern Bowl With Salmon. It had Tabbouleh, Pineapple Salsa, roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cucumber, fresh Greens, Jasmine Rice, Miso Carrot Ginger sauce and a piece of Glazed Salmon on top. This meal was very tasty for a healthy menu option. The flavours of the Salmon, Miso Carrot Ginger Sauce and Jasmine Rice complimented each other well. The Veggies were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this meal.Service was very efficient and prices were reasonable.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review. Really good for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Pasta are excellent value creme brûlée was on point service was bumping. Since when did trip advisor become the pc police. It should be about food first. Got to this place if your in the hood. Not pretentious but a nice change.

We were a group of 5 there the other day, two of us for the first time. I love Mexican food and what we ordered here was very tasty. For me, just the right amount of heat that would leave a lovely little buzz in my mouth after.We ordered a variety of things. The chips/3 salsas were really good, especially the tropical salsa. They also gave us complimentary chips after we had devoured the first ones!I had a burrito bowl as am gluten free. It was huge and delicious. Others had street tacos/6 inch taco/burrito/quesadilla. Everyone enjoyed their choice. Service was good.This place is quite small, so if you have a group like we did, I would highly suggest reservations. Also, this place is really, really noisy. The acoustics are terrible. Visited this pub on a Friday night. Sat in the dining room and enjoyed a few beverages and food. Good selection of menu items...difficult to choose. Shared some fish tacos and the Prosciutto thin crust pizza. At $16 it was tasty with prosciutto, mushrooms, arugula, pomodoro, and mozza cheese. The pizza was not hot but very flavourful. and the toppings good. The fish tacos arrived cold with nonexistent fish. Disappointing. Good selection of beverages. FYI the wines by the glass were pricey! $10 for a glass of Oyster Bay.The service was good. Friendly and positive. The atmosphere in the pub was jubilant. An older crowd. Very loud due to hard surfaces, and difficult to carry on conversation in the back dining room. Overall an enjoyable evening.

We came here for my early birthday dinner.The staff is helpful and friendly. When we ordered, it took a little longer for our food to arrive so the manager came to our table and let us know that it would be a few more minutes, which I greatly appreciate.Overall, the food here doesn't make me crave it or even want to return.The portions were smallish for the price, and although it seems to present itself as a high-scale restaurant (read: cloth napkins) I really didn't think that the food was anything special or deserving of the exorbiant prices (salads are in the $20 range, and pasta comes without any salad or other veggies included).Hi, we sincerely apologize that the meal you received did not reflect the value and we want to look into this. A five minute walk for us, Browns is in a great location, in Newport Village, free parking on street, and underground.Attentive servers, great food moderately priced. We were seated right away, and our server Juliano, is top notch. Great place for people watching, ample patio seating in the sunshine. I had the Hollywood burger, served with fries, Wendy had the Chicken wok bowl, both very tasty.We will go more often.

Arrived family day early. Busy place arriving one hour after it opened. Visiting with our daughter her husband two grandchildren ages 2 and 4. A short wait and a friendly escort to a great table. Within minutes our server arrived with fresh veggies dip and crackers for both children. I was impressed. From there forward great service. Meals were spot on and delicious.
