Had Christmas Day lunch with friends at this venue. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff to create excellent dishes and an atmosphere of fun. The food was tasty and of excellent quality even allowing for minor choice changes and the service was attentive and cheerful and Christmas crackers on the table helped create the spirit of the day. The building is not large so several sittings were catered for and at an incredibly reasonable price for a Christmas meal which included a massive choice of dishes.

Went with some friends, wide choice of dishes, spoilt for choice, the cheese nans were wonderful, we mixed our food to include, tandoori chicken, onion baggis, mixed samoes, special fried rice, tandoori salmon, king prawn tandoori, etc etc, wonderful choice of drinks, the most friendly staff, most enjoyable meal, will certainly be going again

We ordered a takeaway from here recently to collect and were filled with high expectations judging by the delicious smells emulating from the open kitchen.... but sadly Upon tucking in we felt underwhelmed...It was all âokâ and âacceptableâ but nothing stood out as spectacular.We had a variety of starters all which had a very similar and sadly rather bland flavour to them. The tandoori mixed grill was ok - the naan bread , again ok. The popadoms were nice and crisp and fresh tasting but the accompanying chutneys were in very small containers and ran out way before the popadoms did.Overall our takeaway was âalrightâ but there are better places out there which is sad as this is so close to home.

A lovely evening with great food and attentive service without being OTT. Great presentation and very good quality. Staff very knowledgeable about allergens and content of food. I believe that the owners are relatively new and wish them luck in this venture but somehow think that their food will speak for itself. Delicious chocs with the more than reasonable bill

There were some doubts as to what would happen to this restaurant upon the recent (July 17) change of ownership/management but we have been 3 times since, and we are very happy with the standard of food and service now on offer. Yes, we have lost a few favourites off the menu, but the new dishes are great! The service is swift and considerate and every dish we and our friends have tried were fantastic. 2 friends visiting from another part of the country said it was the best they had tasted! Value for money is also very high. Just cannot fault it - 5 Stars all round.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The restaurant looks recently renovated, bar at the entrance with seating area, dining area is cosy and well appointed.Service we found attentive and professional. The food was very good, we had four different curries and they all tasted really good. For a small restaurant the menu is extensive.Will certainly be returning

There's a few Indian restuarants in the area ad anyone local will know . All have their favourites, me too.Taste of Nepal is different, not necessarily THE best but up there.It's strengths are the lovely Lady front of house. Very friendly and enthusiastic, not frightened to give advice ( Wolvo girl through and through)...then the food cooked by an ex Gurkha very nice man, as they all are if you're on the same side!.Gurkha curry top notch, great flavours melting in the mouth Lamb , delicious .Try the spicy dumpling starter, very very unique.Lamb chops as well.Chilli prawn curry and delicate breads ,think we had a paratha? ??.Anyway you should go and try something slightly different.Only thing they have to sort out? .....is the cd player and I've got one of those in my car so if that's the only gripe, I think it's ok.

We entered this restaurant with high recommendation, we were served by a griming man seemed to know all, took our order, 3 very different meals ! Popadoms came with relish all good! 25 mins later our meals arrived, one chicken masala, one Bangladesh Khana special, and one Thrapston Tandoori special! All three dishes looked the same , and yes they tasted the same , not a hint of curry was there , having just returned from India was very surprised, we smelled of fried onions, I ask our waiter where are the prawns in my dish, oh sir we have removed them from these dishes, he was laughing, I reminded him that he should have informed us of this at the time of order!! Still laughing I told him this wasnât funny at all, we asked for the bill , with no reduction, paid and left!! I will never go back again, and cannot recommend this restaurant!!
