Ni hao Cinnamon Lounge Restaurant Sankey Street Warrington is just okay in terms of customer service and food quality! Took our lovely friends from Taiwan for an early evening meal to this restaurant. A place that we have frequented before under a different name. The establishment is clean and the staff are welcoming, they do engage in conversation. The menu is typical of most Indian restaurants. We did however try to mix up our selection as we spared between four people. Probably of the dishes served to our table the âExotic Delightâ was the most enjoyable and invited the best flavors. Value for money probably on the high side to be totally honest. Worth a visit if you are in the area. But wonât go out of our way to return. Just had a wasted trip to Warrington, after booking The Cottage for a family celebration a while ago, we arrived tonight to find the restaurant closed with no warning of this even though they had our contact details.Not a happy birthday. Dear Hilda RWeâre sincerely sorry that you were not able to find The Cottage open, although an apology will not change anything right now we hope that you can accept this and perhaps visit us again so that we may serve you high class food.Kind regards

We ate here on a Sunday lunch and I was very impressed. To be honest i would find it hard to fault. Service was good, food was excellent, wine and beer selection was good. Nice clean establishment and we were made to feel very welcome. Would not hesitate in recommending this place to anyone. The fillet steak wraps are divine. Never heard of them previously, but we worth sampling!! Probably the best chinese in the North West ?

Weâve been here many times in the past and left a favourable review. Tonight was a shambles to say the least. Weâd booked a table for 6pm as we were going to an event at Parr Hall. By 6.05 weâd received our drinks and prawn crackers. By 6.20 the prawns crackers had been eaten as theyâd gone cold and the waitress came to tell us that our soup had been âdroppedâ by a member of staff but would be with us soon and replenished the prawn crackers. By 6.40 weâd had enough of waiting for two bowls of soup so told the front of house we were leaving. Offered free drinks which we refused but that did not make up for the fact our night was completely thrown into disarray. Went to a local tapas bar and we were served efficiently with delicious food. Wonât be heading back to Lauâs in a hurry despite positive experiences in the past. Really sorry but wouldnât recommend again. â¹ï¸

The food still really quite impressive and booked a table albeit at a peak time.The only problem for all for if us was the noise - incredibly loud environment made worse by the sparse wall & floor decor. Genuinely an unpleasant place to eat and I hope they can do something to make the acoustic better.But other than that polite service and great food - take ear defenders?

Visited Cardamom for dinner with my wife and son on 10th October on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was not great. Spiced popadoms didnât seem fresh, and were fairly rubbery, and the relish medley at £3.50 was underwhelming. Our starters were undercooked, with some of the vegetables being inedible, and the chicken in our mains was over cooked. The âcurry sauceâ that accompanied my wifeâs biryani, was just a congealed lump of veg. Needless to say, we never bothered with desserts. While the staff were very pleasant, we had to ask that the deposit we paid when making the internet booking, be taken off the bill. Surely, this should have been done automatically. Visited on a Saturday night at 6.30. At the time it was fairly quiet but the place soon started to fill up. We were on a living social deal which was a set 3 course menu. Starter was cooked in the kitchen, the mouth cooked in front of us on the hot plate and the desert served to us seated away from the main area. Food was tasty and the performance good to watch. I can't really comment on prices as we were on a deal but house wine was coming in at £6.50. I would definately go again if it was more local.

This was my second visit to The Little Box of Treats,albeit the last one was sometime ago. I was very impressed then & I was glad to find that this restaurant was just a good as last time. The four of us has various starters (pawn crackers & spring rolls) & then for man courses had an assortment of vermicelli & noodle dishes which were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh,well presented & tasty. We were too full for deserts but had coffee's. The bill was very reasonable. The staff are friendly & efficient. It was a pity we were so full as the cakes on display looked very appetising. A lovely afternoon was had & I hope to return soon. NB. The premises are only small so table reservation is advised.
