Was looking for some place different to eat and this restaurant came up with some great reviews so decided to check it out. The restaurant was quite when we first arrived, however staff are really friendly. The menu is not extensive but it has, in my opinion, a very good selection. We shared the mixed Tandoori starter and quickly realised that if this was the standard and quality of food we were in for a treat. I had the Tandoori King Prawns which I can only describe as the best ones I've ever eaten(and I've eaten a lot of them!). They were served with a curry vegetable side which was amazing. We shared a garlic nan - again it was fantastic. I can honestly sat the quality of the food is top notch and we will definitely go back and bring friends with us. It was the best Indian food I've had in Ireland, ever. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend it. We are very happy you enjoyed your food, And hope to see you again soon. Thank you for your review.

I had previously had good experiences but tonight was very poor service. I ordered dishes for 5 people online. I left a mobile number in case of difficulty but 50 minutes later i phoned as food had not been delivered. I was told we were the next delivery. I phoned at 1h 15mins to be told it was on the way. Food arrived after an hour and a half. The food was tepid and required a microwave blast to reheat. The driver was churlish and said kitchen was busy....this early on a mid week in the firat week in January. The food is usually good but frankly the service i experienced was dreadful. I suggest you use a different restaurant if you want a take out meal that is hot, or even polite service.

The restaurant is attractively laid out over several floors. We were seated in a lovely room at the top floor. The staff obviously take pride in the excellent service they deliver . An interesting menu was offered and what we ordered was beautifully presented . I had perfectly cooked monkfish. The accompanying mash was nice but not outstanding and an additional vegetable would have been welcome. The overall ambiance is relaxing and thereâs a palpable sense of hospitality. Would happily return if in the area again.

got take away and took back to our hotel- food was ready in a decent time. Was looking forward to a scrummy Chinese.. didn't get it. Found the chicken satay quite bland neither sweet or nutty or spicy. More taste from the veg than the sauce. Wouldn't order from here again

Have got take away from orient several times in the past & to be fair it has always been fine . However on this occasion it was very poor , choose 2 different dishes & the veg in both were just short of being raw . Chips accompanied meal were burnt to a cinder . Impossible to park in Maynooth town so tried the Hotel instead. Sunday evening 7ish. carvery closed was directed upstairs to Indian/Thai restaurant. Only two other dinners. Two menus Thai and Indian, not bad priced. Very quick service. shared platter to start nothing special , Very mild Korma and and Nasi Goreng. Both fine, empty plates. card machine didn't like my visa, so scrambling to pay. ( card worked fine elsewhere) for a while we where alone, family of five including young children came in. Efficient if soulless.

Had dinner here on Sunday, lovely place food was really nice and good value on the early bird, 2 starters of chicken satay and pork satay both beautiful well presented and plentiful, main course of nasi gorang nice but nothing to shout from the roof tops, the duck Tarmind was absolutely beautiful, cooked perfectly served with a delicious sauce and the rice on the side highly recommended and tea or coffee to finish.....NYFanDeeThanks for your glowing reviewWe look forward to welcoming you and your guests again :D
