Not a good Hotel
Reviewed By mariaclarao2017The hotel was very far away from de beach and the installations weren’t very good, the food wasn’t good, the pool was ugly and some rooms doesn’t have ventilation and windows and you can’t manage the air-conditioner like you want because you don’t have the remote control.

The worst night of my life
Reviewed By Catalina MI booked this hotel based on the comments below and I am so glad we booked it just for 1 night before going to Providencia. We arrived about 10:30 pm and they had a party in the social area which is really close to the rooms. The lady mentioned they will finish the party at 11 pm (it did not finish at that time). The room that we got was right on the main road, the aircon was not working properly so the room was really hot, you also can hear everything that's happening on the streets, rubbish truck at 2 am, the party down stairs, people coming after partying at 5 am and finally they were doing some construction that started at 7 am and it felt like the people where inside the room screaming. In addition, the lady at the reception told us wi-fi was for 5 days and cost $20.000 COP, we needed it so I asked for the password and would pay that price: she said the page was down and she could only give it to me the next day (the day that we were leaving). For $300.000 per night I expect something better than this. The place is rundown and not very inviting. I don't recommend staying here.

It has spacious rooms with an amazing view to the ocean and it has its own private pool that is cleaned daily. I would recommend you stay in it when you visit Alexandria.

Delicious food like homemade taste, like mom cooking for you. Super clean. Not the super furniture but pretty good, beds comfortable. Wifi is too slow and only available at the lobby. But keep in mind that is in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. All the staff very helpful and friendly.

Great accomodation and exellent entertainment staff
Reviewed By Daniel_Isaza_JWe had an excellent time here in Sol Caribe Centro, the accommodation was good, a big space for us 2, and the resting was on par for all the walking and activities we did around the day. We traveled various days to Solcaribe Playa, to take the sun and to do a couple of tours/site seeing activities. We had to take the bus (public transport) to get to various places around the island, but we had no trouble asking for any direction, and really don't mind taking the bus to get somewhere, so it was Ok for us. In the morning before leaving to other places, or in the night, the entertainment staff were doing activities, in the morning some dancing/exercising and in the night some entertaining shows, We had a god laugh on all the activities, the staff was really friendly and good sports, if you are available to participate, do so and meet some great people from the staff (Nichy, Nicolet, Jean Clovis, and Rosenberg) and on all the following days you will keep laughing and having a great time.

The safes don’t worked either. Do not book your stay here. El Wi-Fi casi no trabaja y solamente lo pueden usar en el restaurante y de si pones que no entren al cuarto todavía entran. La caja fuerte tampoco trabajo no se queden acá!

Reviewed By vacationJan2010We stayed at Hotel Casablanca from May 24th through the 28th and everything we can say about this place is extremely positive: location, breakfast, room, air conditioning, view, cleanliness, however, the winning point, above all, is its GREAT STAFF!!!! We had a beautiful time and the employees made sure that we felt just at home. Our most sincere compliments to Grace, Blanca, Wilder, Kimberly, Wilson, Martin, Isha, the Housekeeping ladies, Maintenance, as well as all the other components of that awesome working team.. They all went beyond their call of duty to help us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Muchisimas gracias a todos por haber sido tan atentos, proofesionales y amigables. Desde luego que la proxima vez que visitemos la Bella Isla de San Andres el Hotel Casablanca sin dudas sera nuestra unica eleccion!!!!!! Jorge y Ana San Juan

Reviewed By Flmike772Definitely not guest friendly. Front desk is horrible to communicate with, they want to make you feel like you need them instead of them needing you, Buffay is just as bad. Wi-Fi does not work, so if you need Wi-Fi stay clear My opinion I would not give it one star, rooms or full of mosquitoes and musky, very old place, checked out early because vacation are supposed to be fun. Not a confrontation at the front desk we’re trying to check in guess!!! Definitely need more training, education!!

Reviewed By CataVV74Be aware that the tents at the beach in front of the hotel are not part of it so this will be an additional expense to locals. Spacious rooms and very clean. Spa is wonderful as well as the pools. I travelled with my 14-yr-old son and had a great time.
