The food and wine was excellent. Small servings between main courses. Good athomsphere. The very young waiter had not clue about the food that was served but we had a great evening and would go again

In a country where gourmet restaurants are popping up weekly, Tisvildeleje has apparently chosen to ignore this new trend! And unfortunately the result is that this is probably the best restaurant in town. The service is below par ( but friendly ) and the food is on a good day average. The special of the day you are recommended to order when you make the booking as its ofen sold out on the day!! Note to owner, if its so popular why dont you order more? The ambience is really what this place is about, normally very busy and a bit loud ( and unfortunaley a bit warm as well ). If you have the chance to avoid lunch or dinner in Tisvildeleje then do it, if not then just arrive with low expectations and you might not leave disappointed

Vi fik en tre retters menu ifm. firmaarrangement. Det var alt sammen meget veltilavet og lækkert.
Først fik vi smørstegt søtunge, hertil en god oversøisk hvidvin.
Hovedretten var langtidsstegt kalv, hertil fik vi fransk bourgogne pinot noir.
Desserten var æblekompot, og Eiswein
Alt i alt meget lækkert og velsmagende.
De serverede for 36 personer og det forløb rigtig fint ift. timing og introduktion af maden m.m.
Alt i alt en god oplevelse.

The closest Tisvilde gets to Italy - Made by italian on italian ingredients. Great coffee. Little overpriced

Bistro-Bistro provides excellent quality at a fair price. The wine and beer are too expensive, though. DKK 60 for 33 cl of perfectly ordinary Carlsberg factory beer is just too expensive!
The scallops with broccoli cream, roast hazel nuts and watercress were just right.
The skin-fried mullet with white oyster sauce, leeks, spinach and red balsamic fondue was simply perfect.
I also enjoyed their unusual liquorice mousse with fresh raspberries , raspberry sorbet, rye bread “soil” and chunks of liquorice was fun and quite tasty.

A place with atmosphere good service and less menus in topkvalitet.Vi ordered a burger without onions got one with - and got it changed in no time.
The Mussels were served warm with delicious fried potatoes and a really good Arioli.
We can only recomend the place.
A restaurant where the price is normal but the quality is top notch.

We had lunch and dinner here twice and really loved the food. Lunch consisted of five different dishes to share, all light and very tasty indeed. So nice to sit out on the Terrace. Dinner was also really good. Wine expensive though.
