Reviewed By JWeidenMy partner and I stayed at the Ancient Hue Garden Houses for two nights last week, and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. First, the rooms are very well done - they've maintained the heritage look and combined it with all the mod cons and luxurious fittings in the bathroom. The restaurant offered a range of local dishes which were very nice. I especially enjoyed the breakfasts and the 'banh mi chao' and homemade yogurt. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool area is a treat. What stands out, however, is the staff. From the front desk to waiters/waitresses to groundskeepers and housekeeping, everyone was very friendly and helpful. For travelers looking for a special property that's not a cookie-cutter hotel, the Ancient Hue Garden Houses is highly recommended!

Centrally located, comfortable room
Reviewed By shorelineae1This hotel is located in an alley off the main walking street in Hue. The staff are helpful, the breakfast is delicious and the room is comfortable. The Wifi wasn't working well during my stay but it did not affect me as I had a data package on my phone with a local provider. The reception staff (Ms Uen especially) were very helpful in organizing tours and transport for me. Thank you.

The location is unbeatable!!!! Local food recommendations were so delicious. They were so accommodating and kind. The city of Hue has so much culture and history. We would recommend to anyone headed to Hue!

The host happens to be a coffee Aficionado, and we had the best cup of coffee we’ve ever had here!! This is hands down our first choice to stay in Hue. Also very close to Thich Naht Han’s Tu Hieu pagoda.

The manager here is a yoga teacher so you will be able to learn 1 hour of yoga with her. We will certainly bring comfort and warmth to your holiday.

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the very friendly staff with refreshments and smiles. The staff told us about the town and answered every question we had. The room was lovely and clean, large bed, tv, ac, plug sockets and fridge. The hotel runs a banh mi stall outside too if you want a quick bite. When we checked out we were able to store our bags and even have a shower while we waited for the night train! Can't recommend this hotel enough the staff are so attentive and friendly with special mention to the young lad who runs reception in the evening.

Beautiful house with lovely accomodating staff, both Timothy and his wife were so helpful, even invited us with them for campfire on the beach. Amazing rooftop for watching the sunset, and good for morning yoga. The food and drink was fantastic, and very reasonably priced. Will definatley visit our friends again!

The host is so cute because he treated you very gentlemanly by himself prepared sweet soup like farewell drink in Hue traditionally way. The location of the home stay take 5 minutes by walk to the center. There are only 3 rooms but so incredible by the clean and up scale equipment. Vote for 5* home stay in Hue and highly recommend for the new couple or foreigner when you guy have very first time visit Hue. You can cook yourself with lovely kitchen with amazing fresh and dew material from local market. Million thanks for his supported with online checking air ticket by Vietjet Air for my family!
