The largest city in Switzerland is a major contemporary art and shopping destination. Important artworks are displayed in the Kunsthaus and the Rietberg Museum, while those who consider shopping an art can hone their skills along Bahnhofstrasse and Niederdorf. Chagall's stained glass windows in the Fraumunster amaze and Zurich's 500 clubs and bars, including several in swimming pools, pulse with life 'til the early hours. This city on Lake Zurich has excellent public transit and a free bike rental system.

I had a short, early morning visit. The atmosphere is slightly rustic, comfy and laid back. Sportbar offers an outstanding selection of coffee, a few morning sweets, daily papers, magazines, and free secured Wi-Fi. The restrooms were fresh and spotless! I ordered an oatmilk hot chocolate (6.50CHF). The beverage was rich, smooth, and tasty. The place was rather quiet and the host, Ricardo, was super friendly and checked in with me to make sure everything was okay, which was most appreciated. It was a nice, enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

A traditional pub on the Langstrasse. Good music in a friendly and cozy atmosphere in the middle of Zurich's nightlife-district. Pub and more.
