VinWonders: Nam Hoi An VS Phu Quoc? Been to both, and thought both were awesome in different ways, namely: 1. SAFARIS: Phu Quoc – larger with more animals. Besides the safari, you can walk around the zoo too. Nam Hoi An – more relaxing because all the walking was replaced by a 15-minute leisurely boat ride. Both feature feeding of giraffes and elephants, but at VP Nam Hoi An it was better integrated in the flow as part of the boat trip, stopping at each elevated sheltered platforms – one for giraffes/antelopes and the other for elephants. We also felt the staff here were friendlier and interacted well with both kids and the animals they were caring for. 2. THEME PARKS AND CULTURAL AREAS: Phu Quoc – they’ve a much larger theme park made up of several themed worlds e.g. Egyptian, Red Indians, Cowboys, Pirates, Fairy tales, etc. Nam Hoi An – what it lacks in its size of its theme park, was made up for with its proximity to and hence its own version of the Hoi An UNESCO World Heritage Site – therefore it had more cultural-themed activities (e.g. pottery, silk weaving, paper making, calligraphy, ancient houses) which VP Phu Quoc doesn’t have. 3. WATER PARKS: Phu Quoc – with two water parks, one of them just right beside the beach and 100 metres from the their main hotel, VinOasis, it is a lot more convenient for hotel guests to enjoy. Nam Hoi An – doesn’t have a water park near the hotel nor the beach, but only one within VinWonders. 4. SOFT PLAYGROUND AND ARCADE GAMES: Nam Hoi An – wins hands-down in this area: their soft playground is half a football field and comparable to those paid playgrounds in the cities. Even better, they were clever to combine the soft playground (for those 0-3 years old) with the arcade games into one giant indoor hall, with plenty of café seats in the middle. The café is also the ONLY F&B option in the park during lull season. Clever to let parents rest while their kids roam safely in this indoor open hall. Phu Quoc – their indoor soft playground in the Egyptian themed hall is plainer, but may interest slightly older kids who likes to play indoor rock climbing or the projector art play like those of TeamLab’s. Arcade games were in a different building. 5. FOOD: Phu Quoc – more fast food eateries such as Lotteria, Burger King, Korean BBQ, etc. Nam Hoi An – large food court with various cuisines BUT it ain’t open during off-peak. Overall, VinWonders Nam Hoi An is more relaxing and classier. VinWonders Phu Quoc is probably more thrilling.

Family of 5, we only paid for 2 as our two young kids were free and our sixty plus grandma was also free! They provide foreigners with a sundeck with free of charge lockers and changing rooms. We spent four hours there trying out all the pools and the river where the young kids were allowed entry. There were many life guards watching closely what was going on and blowing whistle to keep us safe and in order. On a Saturday, all the food stalls and restaurants in the Water Park were open providing simple local and western food at inexpensive price. Our young kids loved the place so much that they did not want to leave! After a week, happy memory with young kids of mine and others remains... much fun, laughter, sun and water... colourful, adventurous place mingling with happy local families!

I plan to visit here with my friends from Thailand. We have a surprise plan to propose my BBF she is a girlfriend some guy in group , A water park so nice have fun ,play Thrilling rides challenge your heart a lot.Everywhere excited super fun city railroad tracks I really can't tell you all. You can looking view the sea around this theme park all day too. Everything is incredible in this area, perfect beautiful , excellent for ask "will you marry me" And..If you want to experience this wonderful marriage, I recommend this place ;) well next time I will visit again.

Ho Chi Minh .... travelling with kids .... I give a 8/10 for family trip . We ended up with good memories & a must go feeling for next time. Even my kids loved it . They have nice amusement park water park Zoo crocodile reserves and all at a very convenient distance to reach with kids. A fun filled pack week for me & my kids. Ofcourse they are more a local destinations but as it says be roman when in Rome, that’s what made me feel comfortable. If you are a good planner & a explorer, definitely VietnAm is one of the best destinations for all ages. Cleanliness is 8/10 transportation is 9/10 food is 9.5/10 communication is 7/10 unless u are in a remote area. Worth for money is 10/10.
