A good place and park to visit with kids, well maintained by guards. opens in evening by 3pm with Rs5 entry tickets There is walking track, thanks HMDA little parking available for cars Location easily reached using google maps Combine this trip with weekly grocery from Spencer’s hyper which is 8mins drive. Thumbs up for now.

A memorial of Great Legend Nata Sarvabhouma, Nata Vikhyata Sree Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR), former chief minister of united Andhra pradesh. A nice garden near to the Hussain sagar road.

The famous 4 Kakatiya thoranas are present here.The red stone structure, now in ruins, should have been majestic. Many pillars and other sculptures are fine carvings

This place was only a few minutes away from my hotel so I grabbed an auto in the morning to check it out. The main open garden is a field of grass surrounded by walkways with benches. They were watering the lawn when I was there and the place was full of dragonflies buzzing around. Several people were walking on the paths taking excersise. I found the old museum where there was a student art fair taking place, which was fun. The back gardens had a nice lake, a pavilion, big trees, benches, lawns and lots of areas to walk or sit. Several joggers went through and a few families were sitting and enjoying the afternoon.

Signed up for couch to 5k Hyderabad runners program being held 3 times a week since January 2020. As part of this program, I end up being there at 0600 am for about 90 minutes. There are quite a few health freaks trying to run, jog, walk, stroll with kids, stroll with spouse, play badminton, do yoga or just laze around to get free vitamin D. I took the monthly pass which makes it a little easier for this month. You get to drink some hot flavored health drink at the entrance. I cannot endorse as i haven't tried yet. However, do see folks relish it. All in all recommended as a good place early in the morning if you want some clean air and fresh surroundings. Happy botanicking & stay healthy.
