If you like historic architecture,big rivers and an old medieval feel to a place yet dislike hoardes of tourists then this place is a must if you are anywhere near Berlin. It even has a thermal bath complex as used by an old kaiser! Modern amenities are in the new town but here you go through the city walls via one of the town gates to escape the modern world.
