The Garibaldi is a local community pub run by Friends of The Garibaldi, a group formed to save the existing pub and re-open it as a community pub. The pub itself has stood on Mill Street for over 150 years and has always been a place for people from all walks of life to come together and socialise over a drink. Our aim is to keep the friendly, local feel of the pub whilst introducing facilities which the whole community can benefit from. These include, a community garden, musical bingo, quiz nights, children’s theatre classes, language clubs, coffee mornings and more. Fantastic community pub with friendly staff and well served beer. After coming back from the brink of closure it's great to have a beer here. Nice back garden for the summer too.

All comedians are professional comics that have worked at all the major comedy clubs including The Comedy Store and more. Do not be surprised if you see some familiar faces from popular TV shows such as Never mind the Buzzcocks and Live at the Apollo. We do cater for all comedy types so we know we can tickle your fancy one way or another with our varied bills. Fantastic little chocolatier on Bookham high street. Delicious hot chocolates. Only two tables inside (very limited seating) but they do take away and there are a further two tables outside. Cocoa related items available to buy inside.

Visited Hummings bar for a friend’s 30th birthday at the weekend and had a great time! Perfect venue for a party or event and the staff were lovely ???? highly recommended this place to anyone wanting to have a fun time, listen to music and enjoy some tasty cocktails. Laughing Chili runs regular comedy nights at the Riverside Arts Centre, featuring line-ups of top comedians picked from the UK and international comedy circuit. On top of this, they run Speed Quizzing, silent discos, and cabaret events, bringing a whole variety of entertainment to the local community. Established in 2014, they have brought many names to Sunbury for our monthly shows, as well as one off specials for corporate, club socials, and fund raising events.

We became aware of Laughing Chili during the 2020 Covid-19 lock-down and haven't yet visited Riverside Arts Centre. Stu has run a speed quiz night every Saturday since the beginning of lock-down and every single one has been brilliant! As well as speed quizzing, there has been music bingo and other special events. Stu has an amazing ability to create a really fun evening, our whole family are involved and look forward to Saturdays... now known in our house as "Quiz Night!" We can't wait to visit in real life once all these restrictions are lifted. With the professionalism we've seen online, we know we'll be in for a fantastic experience. Thanks Laughing Chili!

Good beer, excellent food and friendly staff. As well as open fires and wi-fi. This pub has become a fine establishment, after a lot of hard work by the owners. With beer gardens at the front and rear - The Hatch is one of the best around.

Enjoyed a wonderful night at the Admiral last night. It is fabulous what they have done to make the garden a comfortable and warm place to eat and drink. Delicious and well priced wine. The food was fantastic and the service friendly. So lucky to have this little gem just around the corner.
