I’ve been to Adelaide Markets several times with family but had never done a food tour. I would highly recommend it. This company is now called Food Tours Australia. Our guide was very knowledgeable, very informative and managed to get us all around in the allotted time. We had a good amount of time to stock up as well. Wonderful!

Greg runs an amazing service. He is very knowledgable about the area and as he has visited all the wineries numerous times can suggest the best places to visit. We had a full bus and a superb day out despite it being extremely cold since the weekend we visited was when the arctic blast came through. Highly recommend to book Greg for a private tour.

We hired bikes for 3 adults and 3 boys aged 15, 12 and 11 and all easily managed to ride these eBikes around to various wineries after picking them up from the McLaren Vale visitor center. They’re quality bikes and we had zero issues with them, riding up some serious hills was very manageable even for those of us who aren’t regular riders. Shayne was easy to deal with and we would recommend this business to anyone thinking of trying an eBike winery tour.

We were fortunate enough to win a $50 voucher from SA Tourism and spent it on a Devonshire Tea cruise for two on the Popeye. It was wonderful! I am from Adelaide, and my partner is from out of state. Neither of us had been on the Popeye before, but now I feel so happy to have experienced it. I would definitely recommend to others for any occassion. Great Skipper, with new information and interesting, funny commentary. Also the scones we got on the Tea Cruise were plentiful and delicious!

This tour is for your group of up to 8 people exclusively tailored to your taste and occasion. We regularly visit St Hugo, Kellermeister, Kies, Rockfords, Langmeil, Tscharke Place, Hentley Farm, Seppeltsfield, Penfolds, Henschke, Two Hands, Torbreck, Gibson, Delluva etc. Also we would encourage you to taste wines from less known wineries that sell their wines in cellar door exclusively. Your lunch would be organised in Kies Wines where you taste all range of their wines while your lunch is getting ready. We might be able to book winery or lunch venue of your choice but additional charges may apply. All drivers are tour guides with an extensive knowledge about the region.

Bob has the excellent skill of being extremely professional and down to earth and friendly at the same time. We went to Maclaren Vale where we visited a combination of our own choices and Bob’s recommendations. We never felt rushed, we fitted in a lot, a tribute to Bob’s efficiency. If you want a tour where you don’t have to put up with other people ????, then the private tours are great value. Would do again and will recommend to anyone I know visiting SA.
