This Shop is a must! Really happy and very helpful staff eager to please. Lots of samples and everything is made very clear and simple. The only hard part is choosing the flavours! The fudge speaks Volumes for its self! Beautiful and rustic in appearance and oh so melt in the mouth with a very unique texture to it that can only be described as heavenly! Lucky for me I live within a ten mile radius of this place because I think I must return frequently!

Discworld Emporium

Reviewed By Johnfrisbee - Christchurch, United Kingdom

Our annual pilgrimage to Wincanton's splendid Discworld Emporium, accompanied by 3 generations of Discworld family enthusiasts. As ever, the warm welcome from Isobel and Bernard preceded much banter, jollity, Terry anecdotes and Discworld goodie purchases. (That's Christmas sorted for a couple of people then!) 5 year old Jack chose a Death plushie, and carried it for the rest of the day! Such fun, such detail, such great hosts...if you enjoy Discworld, you must visit this place...take it all in, read the plaques outside...it's a tiny slice of Discworld, with a huge heart.

Midsomer Quilting

A wonderful shop with beautiful fabrics, just too many to choose from. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I spent over 3hours in there while hubby dropped me off and went to Classic Car Show not far from here. I was offered cups of tea and the time flew by. Unique classes held and can’t wait to book on one. Plenty of parking and cafe next door.

During our trip to Somerset we decided to visit a cider manufacturer and this one topped the reviews and now we know why. Jim and his lovely wife were most welcoming and we were told the history of Bere Cider. We sampled their products which is like the cider I remember before the modern stuff was pumped out into the pubs and supermarkets! They also sell cheese, butter and other grocery bits. They have tables outside where we safely enjoyed a bottle of cider in the sun. A great place to visit if you are in the area and no need to book.

Rifleman Firearms

Reviewed By jimysue2017 - Shepton Mallet, United Kingdom

So, this week on Monday I had an Air Rifle shooting experience followed by a 5 Gun Shooting experience on the Full Bore range. Guided and taught by Ian & Tom respectively - absolutely fantastic and I decided there and then that I wanted to shoot more. Today, Wednesday, I returned to Rifleman Firearms and purchased an Air Rifle and a pistol, plus a few other bits and pieces to treat myself. Excellent guidance and help from Ben, absolutely no rush and no pushy sales talk- just good honest advice from an experienced professional. AND on 'checking out', the price of my purchases was very very acceptable. I cannot rate Rifleman Firearms too highly and the staff are all helpful beyond measure - a real pleasure to do business with. I'm going to join their shooting Clubs and can't wait to start learning more.
