We started with the boat tour in the morning. Seeing Sicily from the water was beautiful and an amazing experience. I love swimming in the crystal clear water - it definitely helped with my fear of “what’s swimming under me??” Taormina is beautiful and the knowledge and warmth our tour guide Chiara made the experience exponentially more amazing

A real bike experience to discover the Nature Reserve of Monte Pellegrino cycling along the tracks of the mountain on our brand-new e-MTBs. The ascent will take place along the "old roads" used by pilgrims and devotees on the Feast of the Patron Saint of the city of Palermo. You will appreciate the history of the Mountain and visit the sacred cave (formerly, the place of worship of the Phoenician goddess Tanith, nowadays embedded in the Sanctuary dedicated to Santa Rosalia). We will continue visiting the plateau, where the II WW' s anti-aircraft batteries were positioned and that, nowadays, offers a breath-taking panoramic view on the coast and the Gulf of Palermo; we will later proceed along the off-road tracks at the top of the mountain designed for MTBs enthusiasts. A stop will be planned to let you refresh and taste local street food specialties of the city. At the end of the excursion, we will reach the city cycling on the panoramic paved road and admiring stunning views.

I had a rough time finding a good place to find quality road bikes but once I found sicicla it was really smooth. The bikes are rented at a fair price (20/30€ a day for bikes worth 1000-2000€) with all the equipment needed (lock, helmet). They have an impressive collection of bikes which is waiting for a post Covid summer. The owner is a really nice guy who provided me with a great tour (Monreale and the coast) with breathtaking views. I also went to Cefalu that I can’t recommend more. The coastal roads of Sicily are a great fit for road bikes!

Came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely experience is Cassa de montabalno. Maria the housekeeper was amazing. Very helpful friendly and when we arrived we had to organise a Covid test. She organised it with the help of Ivana and we were very happy that they helped us. Maria was a source of information and arranged us to go on a day tour on a Montabalno Day Tour with Nunzio the taxi driver. We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone who loves the tv show. Only negative was we missed the season and not many restaurants were open but we didn’t starve. We bought our food in the local shop and ate on the balcony in the evening. Thank you for having us!
