We started with the boat tour in the morning. Seeing Sicily from the water was beautiful and an amazing experience. I love swimming in the crystal clear water - it definitely helped with my fear of “what’s swimming under me??” Taormina is beautiful and the knowledge and warmth our tour guide Chiara made the experience exponentially more amazing

I and my wife went on a private tour of Noto, Modica and Ragusa with Alessio, the owner of Sicily Grand Tour. Alessio is a native of Sicily and speaks very clear English without any Italian accent, which is a great plus; particularly when he has to drive the car with his mask on and speak. He is very knowledgeable not just about Sicily but also gave informative tidbits of faraway cities like Trieste in the northeast of Italy. We found him very personable as he was always keen to engage in conversation, enthusiastically clicked our pictures with a DSLR, and of course took us to the best spots in each of the three towns. I can easily recommend him for Sicily tours as his communication/approach right from the time I contacted him via email/whatsapp until the very end of the tour was prompt, clear and amicable. SD

I booked this tour online and paid €60. When I arrived at the port I saw the same trip was €40 if bought there. I paid an additional 50%for the privilege of booking online!!! Also I had to pay an additional €2.50 City tax which wasn't notified. I contacted the company and they said it was tour operator costs - no refund. They said no one had complained before - I find that really hard to believe. Unless you like throwing your money away I'd suggest waiting until you get to the port. The trip itself is enjoyable and the islands are lovely. Under covid they, naturally can't provide snorkeling equipment but definitely bring your own. So worth it. Lunch was pasta with tinned tomato and slice of melon. Bottled water was a plastic cup with lunch. A good day out if you can get past the rip off.

With a couple of friends I made this tour. After a pleasent ride, with a coffee stop, we arrived at Villa Romana del Casale, where we admired the beautiful mosaïcs. In the neighborhood from the Villa, Giovanni arranged a nice lunch at a very good restaurant. After that we continued the journey to the Valle dei Templi, where we enjoyed the wonderful temples and a stunning sunset. Giovanni has an comfortable car, is an excellent driver, is enthusiastic, very kind and is doing his utmost to make you feel at ease. It was a marvelous day. Highly recommended!

I couldn't have asked for a better guide to show us around Etna! Saro is so knowledgeable about the volcano and its history! He walked us through the different ages with their characteristics and eruptions. And not only that! He also guided us off the touristic track to show us the hidden wonders of the Etna (always putting our safety first, which we loved)! His passion is so contagious - he made us fall in love with the volcano and with Sicily! What a wonderful person he is!

We had a very nice day out with beautiful hiking and some excellent wine and food. Pepe was very good company, spoke excellent English and was knowledgeable about Etna but also much more. There is not too much driving from Taormina which is good. Would reccomend as a day trip! Also was COVID safe throughout.
