The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

Most of the city's major musical performances and operas are held here.

I came here from Edinburgh on 3rd February for the Boyzlife (support 'Katie Kittermaster') concert, and was immediately welcomed into the venue. The front of house usher was very friendly, directing me where to go and ensuring that I was aware of anything necessary. They made all the adjustments for others that you could possibly ask for, and were accommodating. During the concert itself, the staff were very lenient but firm when they needed to be (and given the type of concert that it was, unlike many others), this is something I imagine they needed to take into consideration greatly. Presentation-wise, it's clear that they care greatly; the toilets were spotless, the venue itself was immaculate, and they made good use of the function room afterwards for the merchandise stalls. I had absolutely no issues here, and was happy with the service I received.

Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre

Hundreds of carved figures and pieces of old scrap perform an incredible choreography to haunting music and synchronised light, telling the funny and tragic stories of the human spirit as it struggles against the relentless circles of life and death. Audiences in many countries have been fascinated by its magic. In Glasgow it has gained a reputation as one of the city’s hidden treasures. Very gripping theatre. - The Times Unforgettable experience. - The Herald An icon-painter for our times. - Scotsman For SEASONAL TIMETABLE OF SHOWS please visit our website. Special / group shows out-with the opening hours can also be booked via the website. For ticket prices and TO BOOK TICKETS please visit our website. Advance booking is highly recommended.

A truly unforgettable cultural experience: the pieces are rich with symbolism and the accompaniment of music, lights and movement turned it into a performance that was both touching and entertaining. The gallery manager was enthusiastic and informative in his explanations on the art pieces; and he was attentive and professional in regards to all the measures put in place for Covid-19 safety. I would definitely recommend Sharmanka to anyone looking for a cultural experience in Glasgow!

The Theatre Clean, bright, well organised with no problems my first visit seat at Les Mis was in the stalls and my second was in the upper circle which gave me a superb view of what was going on at the back of the stage. good venue.   Les Mis Great energy from the cast and solid performances throughout and for me, Javert and Valjean were the stand outs.  I didn't think Madame Thernardier's voice had the commanding presence that it requires but don't get me wrong Sophie-Louise Dann has a superb voice .... maybe it was the way she was directed .... or just me?   Although I like this production and the way background graphics was used in particular, when Valjean was rescuing Marius through the sewers .... I think it should be kept for tours only.  The revolving stage from the original production gives an opportunity for changing the audience perspective with a simple half turn e.g. the barricade swinging round to reveal Enjorlas and Gavroche post battle.  All in all though am just delighted to have been able to go watch Les Mis a mere 45 minutes from my home. :)

We attended the opening night of We will rock you, this was the fourth time I have seen this show and each time it has followed a slightly different but up to date script. Last nights performance was simply fantastic, from the set, graphics, acting, singing and most importantly the music, it was superb. I've never seen His Majesties Theatre come alive like that, a brilliantly exhilarating experience so very WELL DONE to everyone involved, you did 'Queen' proud, if only Freddie knew how he has touched us all!

We are fortunate enough to live in Pitlochry and have been to every show for the past three years and not seen a dud one yet. Some are more challenging than others, but that's great. This season's productions are as good as ever; Summer Holiday was just great fun a real feel good show, Blonds Bombshells was equally good with a very versatile and talented cast, Blythe Spirit captured all the fun of the old black and white film with Madam Alcarte shining as a great performance and The Crucible was suitably dark and thought provoking. Tonight it's Heritage. Can't wait. Well done to all the actors and those who "make it happen" as the sets are very clever and often unexpected but work very well. Pitlochry is lucky to have such a facility.

My Mum and I had the most wonderful, loveliest experience here, and we felt so safe with all the COVID fears going around; the theatre seating was social distanced and everyone was wearing masks. The Macroberts Art Centre is a beautiful building, and the people there were so welcoming, kind, real and funny! We were so so thrilled that it was showing the All My Sons Old Vic performance, as we never thought we would see it again. Lovely cinema area too with VERY comfy seats, AND no rip off with the drinks - which you get in most cinemas and theatres. Wonderful place and can't wait to come back. Thankyou guys!
