Located in an exceptional heritage building with a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River, it is the region's only astronomy observatory open to the public. Activities are organized by le Centre d'études collégiales en Charlevoix (Cégep), in partnership with the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and Le Casino de Charlevoix. The observatory hosts an interactive introductory presentation on astronomy with superb photographs, in the multimedia room. When skies are clear, we help you discover the moment's most beautiful celestial objects with your own eyes. Early evening, the observatory also offers observation of the Sun through an adapted telescope. Take this opportunity to treat yourself to an interplanetary trip on a tour of our small-scale model of the solar system, on display at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu (free admission).
