I'm a professional mermaid (SCUBA instructor) who loves to play in the sea. Making people smile and laugh on vacation brings me the greatest joy, and if I can show you the underwater world and teach you about the tropical reef fish and turtles you see, all the better! As a PADI SCUBA instructor, I teach the skills needed to have a blast snorkeling (safely), and many people who have snorkeled for years tell me that they learned something from me from this experience that would have made prior snorkel tours so much better! You see, I take time to actually teach the skills, not just hand out equipment and throw people into the water. And it pays off in tons of fun. Worried about safety? All equipment is sanitized with an EPA-approved disinfectant between uses, and social distance is maintained throughout the experience. I take pride in being as COVID-19-safe as possible.

Inclusions: Use of Snorkelling equipment, Limited, secure storage available for a few personal items. , Snorkeling instruction by your certified PADI instructor.

Exclusions: Personal items. Please bring your sun protection (reef-safe sunscreen, hat, or (best) rash guards), Personal items: Please bring your own towel and other comfort items. , Due to COVID-19 safety measures, guests should bring their own water and snacks. Vendors available. , Storage for large backpacks or luggage not available due to COVID-19 safety standards. , $5 park at the old Normandie Hotel

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids 10-15) did a 6 hour private boat tour that included the bio bay. It was amazing!!! By far our favorite day on the island. We did a couple nights on this side of the island from San Juan since we read this was the bay you could actually swim with and was less busy than the bay closer to San Juan. I was uncertain if my family would be bored on a 6 hour boat tour but it FLEW by. Nicole was our boat captain and she was amazing. She took us to 4 different island/mangroves to swim, walk the beach, and snorkel. Each island was different and unique. We knew nothing about where we were going but told her to just take us where she'd recommend and she did not disappoint! She provided life jackets and/or pool noodles for my youngest for her to feel comfortable in the water. Small snacks and drinks were very thoughtful and perfect for the boat ride. The bio bay was amazing and so glad we picked this one since we were able to get in and swim which puts the glow so much closer to your face. The whole tour was above and beyond what I expected and would recommend Nicole and Hook'd on Adventure to anyone. When we return to the island this will be first on our list to visit again!

We went on the boozy bites tour and it was great!! Our guide Gwen knew so much local history and gave us ample time to eat and enjoy each stop. I loved the ceviche at the first stop and we had a chance to make our own mofongo. So fun! The boozy ice cream dessert was fabulous and we got to select our own flavor and booze combo. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour multiple weeks in advance. The day before our tour (and a day after the company had taken our money) I reached out to the company after hearing nothing to figure out where we would be picked up. I was told that our trip was cancelled and had been for a few days, but NO ONE tried contacting me until I called them. How can you take someone’s money for a tour that was already deemed cancelled? The woman I spoke With told me they could give me a full refund but it would take 3-5 days. So, the company took my money, cancelled our trip, and then tied up $300+ for “3-5 days”, causing me to not be able to use that money on a tour that actually was happening. I even have email proof that the tour was booked and paid for. DO NOT BOOK HERE, shady practices and crap communication.

Our party of two did a private walking tour (lasting about 2.5 hours) of Old San Juan with Jorge. Jorge was an excellent guide; we not only discussed history, but also current events, culture, and language. He was knowledgeable, energetic, and friendly, and he happily offered recommendations for food and other activities in SJ. Highly recommend Jorge and Patria Tours!
