The day trip to the capital Ljubljana was awesome. Walking around the town center made me want to stay there for at least a few more days. The weather wasn’t that brilliant, but we saw all the main sites. The architecture, climate and landscape are so different from where I was staying on the coast. It's like visiting another country.

Discover three of Slovenia’s top attractions in one day on this scenic small-group day trip from Ljubljana. Marvel at beautiful Lake Bled and ride a traditional ‘pletna’ boat to Bled Island to explore and perhaps try scrumptious ‘potica’ nut cake. Then, explore Bled Castle perched above the lake before free time for lunch. Finally, visit cliffside Predjama Castle and ride a mini-train into Postojna Cave, the famous cave network of stalactites, stalagmites and eerie halls.  Visit the main tourist sights in one day and enjoy a magnificent day exploring some of the best Slovenian attractions. On our tour we treat you with a traditional pletna boat ride to Bled island and visit the only Slovenian island. The best part of the tour was the tour guide. Barbara L. took extra time to explain everything in great detail. She included Slovenian history and culture, local legends, and a bit about herself and family at my asking. An excellent tour guide that made the Postojna and Predjama excursions more enjoyable.

I spent the day travelling around with my guide Michelle, and she made the whole experience something I will never forget. She took me to see many different sites from Lake Bohinj to Waterfall Savica to Lake Bled. However the main stops on the way were not all there was to see, it was as much about the journey as it was the destinations. Slovenia has some incredible sites to behold and the scenary all throughout the day left me blown away. Driving through the deepest vallies and up the tallest mountains, it was a real adventure the whole way. Due to the time of year and current events, we basically had every spot to ourselves without the hussle and bussle of noisy tourist spots and the benefit of this was how peaceful everything was. Michelle is an incredibly friendly and kind person, full of knowledge and experience of Slovenia that she shares with you in an enthusastic and engaging way, she is perfect company for the trip. This is an amazing day out which I highly reccomend to anyone visiting Slovenia. I will absolutely be coming back to stay at Lake Bohinj next year for a relaxing camping holiday. Thank you Michelle for touring me around Slovenia during my stay here. It has been one of the best ( or even, the best ) experience I have had travelling over the past few years.

I found Nature Adventures to be a very professional company with good communication and the happiness of their customers is important to them. Our guide Maja was very knowledgeable, great company and a ray of sunshine on our snowy day in the mountains. For myself when i find a great guide i stay with them on every trip and on this trip i found a great guide. This trip offers amazing views of mountains, lakes and waterfalls. The trek to the cabin for lunch is very satisfying and you will enjoy your traditional lunch even more because you will have earned it. Please take your camera as you'll get some fantastic pics.
