Apart from being an excellent antiques centre, which also stocks new furniture, clothes and sundry artefacts of all sorts, the centre has an excellent restaurant with food prepared fresh in the premises. It is just off the main dual carriageway between Dundee and Perth and is excellently placed for a pit stop on the way north or south. The food is very good indeed and competitively priced. It is a good place to pick up unusual presents for future birthdays etc and I rarely visit SAAC without purchasing something. At the same time I have also acquired one or two much admired antiques at competitive prices. Well worth a visit!

We wanted a brief stop off to change drivers and have a drink, we also like antiques so were intrigued by this one. A wonderful cafe surrounded by antiques in a former cart she'd. The food, a couple of toasties sandwiches didn't need trimmings at all, smoked haddock pate was superb, apparently the cheese was good too. Coffee and tea were very tasty and we will surely be back at a future date.

Glad we came across this great wee treasure trove whilst watching Antique Road Trip. My husband had spotted some Britain’s Military figures in a cabinet. Couldn’t get out to shop fast enough and was in luck and got a good deal. Spotted so much we remembered from ours and children’s childhoods. Was so tempted by so much but had popped out on bus but we’ll come back in car next time. My daughter in law and son visited on Saturday they too were excited by what they saw especially daughter in law who found a much searched for 45. Very friendly owner who am sure could find you anything you were after. I’m coming back for some pots for the garden!!
