Penang is a Malaysian state located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Malacca Strait. It has two parts: Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town, is located, and Seberang Perai (formerly Province Wellesley) on the Malay Peninsula. The second smallest Malaysian state by land mass, Penang is bordered by Kedah to the north and the east, and Perak to the south.

Located in Jalan Raja Uda, Butterworth, Penang, this majestic temple stands on 2 plots of land with a total area of 40, 000 square feet.From a small unknown attap shed 40 years ago to an opulent renowned place of worship, Rumah Berhala Tow Boo Kong Butterworth had a humble beginning and had grown steadily throughout the years. Built in 1974 and fully completed on 26th April 2000, the building of this temple is made possible through the generous contributions and support of the government and its devotees. The existence of this impressive temple is a form of affinity that brought the devotees and the temple together.

This is a Taoist temple constructed in 1971. Also known as Temple of Nine Emperor. Beautiful architecture with grand entrance. A must-visit place in Butterworth.

Saanen Dairy Goat Farm has more than 10 different kinds of animal as pet on the farm. The main purpose of operating this farm is to produces good quality pasteurised goat's milk to consumers. At the saem time, they also produce homemade dairy products such as soap, yogurt, kefir(pre-order), pudding and ice cream. Home delivery in Penang & KL is available. For groups above 20ppl, guided tour is provided, it is RM8/pax(compulsory). For walk in visitors, it is free of charge. You can support the farm by purchasing their products. Families and individuals are welcome to the farm.

Plenty of apparently content goats, kept protected from the oppressive heat from a farm on stilts letting plenty of air circulation, very friendly daughter of the owner, with perfect command of English, and an excellent goat ice cream. Superb!

Really helps you with exploring the hidden historical gems of Georgetown. Art only 5 minutes wait at the worst and some of the most famous ones are surrounded with cafes, shops and street performers which add into the already amazing atmosphere!

Located next to Lodge 18, Butterworth Art Walk is definitely a "Must See" attractions in Butterworth. Beautiful murals and art decorations along Lorong Bagan Luar that are insta-worthy.
