We had a lovely afternoon tea in the Gladstone Library. It was exceptionally good. Firstly the sandwiches were fresh with lots of filling, the scones were very good plenty of fruit in them. The eclairs were the best we’ve ever tasted and the chocolate covered coconut was truly amazing. The meringue cream was so good too. To complete, there was a really nice chocolate sponge cake full of cream and jam. And there was a piece of quiche as well. The service was quick, attentive and friendly couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you all.
