Chorley Theatre is a volunteer-run independent venue staging plays, musicals, pantos, touring comedy, music and films.Built in 1910, it has been owned and operated by amdram group CADOS since 1960 and produces at least 6 full shows per year, plus 2 by Chorley Youth Theatre. It's an ideal venue for comedy shows by top stand-up comedians, and the regular film showings are digitally projected on to the big screen, with Surround Sound. There's a great-priced bar and the building has full disabled access. Any profits go back into the upkeep of the building, and all income comes from ticket and bar sales.
Always a good show - apart from Pantomines which I always choose to miss - my choice not Chorley Little Theatre's fault. I believe they are much appreciated by those who enjoy this genre. Easy to book through Malcolm's Musicland. Parking close by and excellent. Drinks and snacks very good value - don't bring your own support the theatre.

Lots on offer in this old cinema. It has a bygone feel but offers all sorts. Coffee and cake/ice cream/sweets/good beer. They are working on being sustainable with ideas such as free squash for kids if you bring a suitable cup. They use volunteers and have a film/book club providing community with a great social hub. I enjoy a yoga class held there. And of course the film program is an interesting mix of new releases, classics and locally produced films.

The Dukes is an award winning producing theatre. We run rich theatre, film, art and education programmes. We are the home of the nationally renowned Williamson Park Walkabout Theatre show which has had over 500,000 visitors over the last 30 years.
Another amazingly brilliant, funny pantomime at the Dukes. All the family had a fantastic evening watching this small troupe perform.

I like the olde worlde vibe of this place, the smaller screens, comfy seats, the choice of films and showing times, the ability to park nearby. I love the ticket prices and the cost of the snacks - I can't afford the Odeon or Vue! But above all, I really like the friendly, welcoming staff. It's not often I'm able to take my mobility impaired mother to the cinema, but when I do, the staff make her feel like an individual, rather than a nuisance. There's a sturdy lift up the main stairs, which takes a full wheelchair. Then a disabled toilet off the foyer, which is kept locked and remains in good condition. And outside screen 1, there's a mini stairlift with a swivel seat. My mum felt very well cared and each member of staff was smiley and helpful. Absolute pleasure and made my Mum's day - thank you to all working the afternoon shift today!

Located in the heart of Blackpool Town, The Regent Cinema invites you to come and enjoy a movie experience like no other! Originally opening it doors in 1921, The Regent Cinema boasted 1092 seats and a retractable roof. It proved to be a popular cinema for decades before it was used for bingo during the week in 1969. However, on the 29th July 2016, The Regent Cinema re-opened as an independent cinema, showing classic films across all ages.

After having lunch at The Willows Restaurant in the Garden Centre, my husband and I decided to have a look round The Flower Bowl. Wow - it's amazing - 10-pin bowling alleys, curling rink, cinemas, Crazy Golf, 'virtual' golf, coffee bar, and an American-type diner. We told the very pleasant young man, Matt, on Reception, that we were just having a look round, and he kindly explained all the facilities. There are trees with twinkling lights and the flower theme runs through the building. I felt more like I was in Florida than Bilsborough - it's gorgeous!

We are so lucky to have a major chain in what is a small town. All the very latest films available with the opportunity of low priced seating if you wish. All very well set out with the foyer literally able to supply lots of choice in food, sweets and drinks. Offered the choice of seating at the time of purchasing your seat or of course you could have already done this on line. Fabulous place that needs our support.

Nice cinema, always clean. Probably does need a bit of an upgrade but we can always get decent seats where we want and for the price you cannot complain. We don’t like the cinema in Lancaster, too busy and have to travel & park so Reel Morecambe is the perfect place for us. Nice friendly staff, ideal location and always good offers on snacks & drinks. Definitely would recommend and will be returning often.
