We visited Willows yesterday for an introduction to falconry experience (a belated birthday present for husband and son) and had an absolutely brilliant time, Our falconry guide, Josh was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the birds. No question was too silly to ask and Josh and Matt were able to answer them all with ease and knowledge. It was great to see the different characters of the birds although the caracara was definitely my favourite. It was such a great experience, I can't recommend it enough. A hidden gem in beautiful Kent countryside!!

Sandwich Wildlife Park is Kent’s newest venue for up close and personal encounters of the wild kind, where you can meet some of your favourite animals. If you liked the surroundings of the Rare Species Conservation Center and the feel of Wingham Wildlife Park, you’re going to love Sandwich Wildlife Park – WWP’s brand new sister park! Our coffee shop on the other hand is now open so if you’re in Sandwich, passing by or on your way to Wingham Wildlife Park why not pop in for a barista style coffee by Lavazza and a slice of cake or panini.

I got brought the sloth experience at Sandwich Wildlife Park as a birthday present and it was absolutely amazing! We arrived for the experience a little early so sat & had a tea in the cafe there, the ladies working in there were lovey & very friendly, wishing me a good experience & asking how it was afterwards. The girl who showed me around on the experience was a girl named Georgia, she was very friendly & knowledgable. She also took lots of pictures on my phone of me with the sloth which was good of her. After being able to stroke & feed Sid the sloth, you get taken around on a little tour looking at the other animals at the centre and asking any questions you wanted. Overall I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Myself and my partner went on a whim, arrived at 2pm on a saturday afternoon. Parked easily. No queue to get in, and we had pre purchased tickets online. Ate a delicious sausage roll from base camp cafe then jumped on the safari truck (30 min wait), which we thought was excellent, particularly loved the views from the top where you can see zebra, giraffe and a whole host of different types of antelope roaming in so much space. I do get motion sickness, so just as a warning to anyone else, I'd recommend if you are like me and know you get car sick, take a remedy or bands with you, as it is a bumpy ride. We got off at the bottom of the hill and wandered up small carnivores and the primate trail, went to gorilla pavillion which was excellent, could of stood there all day! then rhino walk and we had a lovely close encounter with 2 rhino. This did mean we walked up the hill twice ???? it's pretty steep but worth it, I'd be more cautious if I had children or was with anyone that struggled physically. We finished our time there by wandering over to the lions an tigers, we could just about see the lions, including the 3 Cubs, the tigers put on a real show for us, running and playing right by the fence. All in all, I thought for the price of a day ticket it was an unbelievable experience, I'd do it again, and I can absolutely understand how people spend 2 or more days there, theres a lot more we could have seen.

The rope bridge above the bears was great. I cant believe how anyone could give this attraction below 3 stars. Keep up the good work,l. ????

Hemsley Conservation Centre

Home to some of the world's most exotic and threatened wildlife

I was given a Shadow a Keeper Experience in December 2019 for my birthday and Hemsley honoured it 16 months later (post lockdowns). Turned up today and was greeted by Ben who was my Keeper for the afternoon along with Henry. Ben and Henry were both so welcoming, very knowledgeable and clearly love what they do. They obviously care a lot for their animals and talk about them so passionately. First, I prepared food for some of the animals before feeding Otters, mucking out and feeding Maned Wolves, mucking out and being used as a climbing frame for Meerkats, meeting an Armadillo close up and feeding a Slow Loris by hand. Such an amazing afternoon and thoroughly enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The Fenn Bell Conservation Project

The Fenn Bell Conservation Project was started with two Kune Kune pigs, Ginger and Spice. Seeing an add on the internet I fell in love with them and decided to bring them home to meet the wife. Little did I know how taking these two pigs on would change my life and open up a whole new world for me. Fast forward to today and we have achieved so much. We have lots of local schools visit us to learn

This was our second visit to the Fenn Bell, and it certainly will not be our last ???????????? I love the Fenn Bell Zoo. My friend and I did a feed the meerkat experience and it was amazing (the meerkats are my fave animals, along with the lemurs, whom we fed in February). They were adorable and very friendly. Our zoo keeper was very informative (it was clear how much he loved his job) and managed to take some great photos. The zoo animals are very well looked after and it was great to see all the measures put in place due to covid being adhered too. Great job all!!!! Thank you Fenn Bell!!!!!
