What a luck we had in meeting Alex during our stay in Wengen! Alex is friendly, cool, knowledgeable and fun. He took the time to assess skills and he quickly made the ski lesson a very fun experience. I recommend him to skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Wengen is just an amazing place, ski slopes and nature are really worth it!

Schilthorn

It takes you just 32 minutes by Cable car to reach the summit of the 2970 m high Schilthorn. Enjoy the beautiful view of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau (UNESCO World Heritage) and on more than 200 other summits.

The Schilthorn on a cool clear day you really can see what looks for ever. Schilthorn is magnificent and view from the restaurant Piz Gloria is excellent well matching it’s beautiful setting.

With the new cable car from Grindelwald the area is a must visit for skiing in the area.Especially if sunny weather is hitting the First ski area.The ski bus service from Grund to First and Mannlichen seems to have improved this year

Grindelwald-First

The key element of the First Aerial Cableway is the cableway with six-seater gondolas travelling from Grindelwald up to First via Bort and Schreckfeld. The gondola cableway has a capacity of up to 1,200 persons per hour with a travelling time of approximately 25 minutes. Aside from the gondola cableway, Firstbahn AG also has three chairlifts and two ski lifts.

A great day up the mountain , lots to do for family’s, wonderful views , loved the Gondola rides, did the zip line and the Cliff side walk , felt safe on the bridge as we walked around , great little restaurant at the end of the cliff walk , great mountain views.
