The mosques, bazaars, and Turkish baths of Istanbul could keep you happily occupied for your entire trip: an eyeful of breathtaking architecture here, a good-natured haggle over a carpet there. Kick your trip off at the awe-inspiring Sultan Ahmet Camii (Blue Mosque), which is visible from many points of the city. Stroll the Galata Bridge and stop by the Miniaturk Park to see its tiny artifacts. The Grand Bazaar has thousands of shops to browse, while the Egyptian Bazaar is a fragrant trove of spices and fruits.

Booked tickets online as it works out cheaper and quicker entry time in all honesty needn't have worried about that as due to the pandemic it was a lot quieter than usual. This place blows the London Aquarium "out of the water" pardon the pun. A huge variety of sea life including but not limited to Sharks, eels, jellyfish, starfish, penguins, octopus, stingrays and amphibious creatures. Very large complex with plenty to see, based on oceans of the world such as Pacific, Mediterranean, Black sea, Red sea, Marmara, Aegean etc, take your time and marvel at various sea life creatures in all their colours, forms and guises, truly spectacular. The visit culminated in an Amazon jungle theme. The family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Akvaryum and I would most certainly recommend this place to others. As we were running a little short of time we took a taxi to the complex on our return we jumped on the Marmaray line from Florya Akvaryum station which is only a few minutes walk away from the Aquarium, this took us back into town.

Best place for a sunny day out with an active toddler. We just loved it, and it is wonderful to see the animals being happy as well in nature. Due to covid, no food/drink options there, it is advisable to bring your own food. If not driving, message an uber driver not to cancel you and offer a bit of extra to pay so they come all the way to fetch you, can get a ride in 20 mins.
