One of the three principal islands of the Maltese archipelago, the island of Malta is the largest of the chain. Its capital Valletta, a lively, bustling city with many buildings dating back to the 16th century, teems with cathedrals, palaces and forts. The impressive Grand Harbour offers a dramatic arrival. The top archaeological attraction is the UNESCO-designated Hypogeum temple ruins, a macabre, 5400-square-foot underground necropolis and the world's only underground prehistoric temple.

Super nice venue to watch Cirque Du Soleil Vitori Show - simply stunning and also a nice place for 300+ people to have a team dinner. Solid friendly service.

The Embassy Cinemas in Valletta are the latest and most modern film theatres to open in Malta. A truly unique space in the heart of Valletta, the Embassy offers the latest cinema and event facilities. All the latest films and blockbusters are screened in the six cinema theatres available, which are equipped with super-comfy seating, air-conditioning, and five of them with stadium seating for unobstructed viewing throughout. We can also provide different food and drink options from our bar or even through our catering partners. You can also experience The Star Lounge -a unique place equipped with a cinema screen and a sofa lounge to make your cinema experience an exclusive one.
The cinemas here are bit smaller and cosier than the other larger cinemas in Malta. They are well kept, the staff are young but friendly and the selection is great. Highly recommended if you plan to visit Valletta and watch a movie there.

I was in the lounge this morning at 4 pm ,my 3rd visit, staff are efficient and friendly, the lounge is spacious and comfortable, looking out over the runway. at that time there is only cold meats, cheese's and salad, pastries, fruit, yoghurts and cereals, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, On a previous review I did mention it would be nice if they had bacon and sausage rolls, porridge and toast ,not been a salad person, other airport lounges I visit these are available at that time of the morning. I will be back in there next December same time, and possibility of February

Didn't get time to enter the library to visit, however we passed by and admired the exterior. There was a cool statue of Queen Victoria at the entrance. There were also come really picturesque light posts - see pics for details. Will definitely enter and spend some time perusing the literature the next time I visit Valletta.

As someone who often struggles to learn and retain information from educational experiences abroad (such as tours), I will say that having something that clearly and chronologically lays out the history of Mdina the way that The Mdina Experience does is quite helpful. The film gets right to the point while avoiding some of the inconveniences that a more traditional tour might have (like noises from traffic drowning out the commentary from a walking tour guide, or a million different distractions from the city around you). It is chock full of information despite being just 30 mins long (so not super time-consuming if you are visiting Mdina on a tight schedule). There is also a very comfortable cafe on the floor below the theatre where you can sit and have a light meal before the show, which was a nice touch. During the show, the headset (which plays a selection of translations of the film in many different languages) on the seat that I originally chose to sit in was not working. When I reported the malfunction, the staff not only addressed it immediately, but they very kindly allowed me to re-watch the film at no additional charge! Thank you for everything!
The largest outdoor venue in Malta for a party or events. Montekristo Estates offers varied entertainment venues which include wedding halls, restaurants, chinese restaurant, our own brewery (pub), steak house, a fun park and more.
