Nowdays there are only two shottower in Hungary. One out of them in here, Tolna region Kölesd-Borjád. Mr. Gusztáv Pichler built it in 1939, it was worked for 10 years and each days they produced 8-9 hundred kg of buckshot. The tower is 23 meter high and now It is a viewpoint and place of different events.

A lovely bus ride with winding curves takes you up from Budapest old train station, it takes you to the foot of the chairlift. When reaching the top lift station there is a cafeteria with food and drinks available and nice views over the city. If you want the best views ever, It is a fairly steep long climb to the tower but take it easy, you'll get there! When you get to the tower climb up right to the top for breathtaking views! All worth it! Maybe while waiting for your bus to take you on this lovely and price wise cheap excursion, visit the worlds most beautiful Mc Donald's next to the station on a square, in a great historic building.

This water tower was built off reinforced concrete. It is located in Szent Istvan Ter ( Square). It was built in 1904 and it is still working today. One can visit and go inside. There is history of physics and busts of renowned Hungarian Architects whose work transformed the city.
