May 20, 2021 Sheron Bogner

Delectable dim sum, floating islands, and a one-of-a-kind skyline are just some of Hong Kong’s unique features. Get an eyeful of traditional Chinese architecture in Ngong Ping village, then take the tram to the tippity-top of Victoria Peak for unparalleled views. The rocks and gentle hills of Nan Lian Garden will bring you inner peace, as will a calming cup of tea in a Stanley café. Become one with everything at the Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex.

With stops at TsingYi (half way) connects to Kowloon suburbs, Kowloon Station connects to Tsim Sha Tsui hotels via Free Hotel Shuttle, Then Last stop Hong Kong Island with free shuttles to HK Island Hotels. Catching Bus A21 from the airport to our hotel and back again was so easy. Cost is HK$33 one way or HK$55 return and you can use your octopus card. Plenty of storage room for your luggage and there is a TV screen showing which stop you are at and how many minutes to each stop in english.

Went with 4 friends. Easy fun trip starting from HK Sunny Bay MTR/bus station (B5 - $5.50) - to Zhuhai & Macau Terminal at Airport - coach then arrive Macau bus terminal - take 101X bus into town - then reverse trip. Comfortable coach to Macau with double-decker bus back. Great views. Even saw a group of fishing trawlers fishing in a circle - to increase & share their catch? Never seen that before! We had lunch at a great restaurant - Casa do Porco Preto (separate review) then finished up with traditional Egg Tarts/Coffee at The Venetian. A great day out! and cheap! No time for gambling! NNnnnooo :( Next time!
