A Comedy & Magic Night with some of the best Magicians in the world Martin Cox Member of The Inner Magic Circle bring together some of the best Close-Up and stand-Up Magicians in the Uk and across the world the last Friday of every month and there nothing like see Magic live with a touch of Comedy too this is a great night out we have lots of parking and a bar so sit back and enjoy the fun packed evening
Local magician Martin Cox arranges for at least 2 Magicians to appear in Bishop's Stortford every month. The evening is compered by Martin (very witty chap) and the magicians are varied, entertaining and always good fun. I've been to several shows and they always impress. Highly recommended evening.

Since 2017 Borehamwood Comedy Club has been entertaining the local residents of Elstree & Borehamwood and surrounding areas, bringing the very best stand up comedians on the UK comedy circuit. Laugh the night away at this brilliant night out with great access to the high street and public transport links. A fantastic social event for all.
I have been to a few of the Borehamwood Comedy Club evenings and they are always entertaining - just as good as you get in the many pub comedy venues in London. Always seems to be a strong headliner and a good mix of comedians. The regular compere is very funny (not always the case at comedy clubs) and does a good job at rousing the audience.

I recently took my two 6-year old great nephew and niece twins to see Sleeping Beauty at the Alban Arena. Rather than going all the way to Hackney for the panto, this is a wonderful find. Parking is easy with the car park right next door and there is a huge choice of child-friendly eateries nearby. The arena is well organised and although huge, it was extremely welcoming. The performance was lovely and the twins enjoyed it very much and so did I at the more adult level of the political asides. I looked at the forthcoming program of events. Great choice if you live in North London or Hertfordshire. I shall definitely be going again.
Spirit of the Old Town are interactive historical ghost walks in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas. We combine history with performances from professional actors.
