Our family-run company has operated passenger boats in Manchester for over 25 years and our two vessels, LS Lowry and Emmeline Pankhurst, are named after famous local people who were born, lived and worked in Manchester and Salford, the very areas we operate in. Our restaurant and party boats cruise all year round for groups and individuals, providing unique venues to celebrate your occasion whilst discovering the world famous historic Manchester Ship Canal and Bridgewater Canal which in 2011 celebrated its 250th Anniversary. During your privately chartered cruise you have the best views of the exciting waterside developments from Castlefield in Manchester City Centre to Salford Quays with a great view of Manchester United’s 'Theatre of Dreams’, Media City UK, home of the BBC in the north, The Lowry and the Imperial War Museum North.Our restaurant and party boats provide the perfect venues to celebrate your occasion, which may be a Birthday, Hen Party, Anniversary or Corporate event that can be customised to your needs. New Horizons is a purpose built 70ft Narrowboat. She is equiped to take people with disabilities on trips on the canal. She was launched in 1981 and is currently in her 40th year of cruising. The boat has a lift to enable people with mobility issues to enter the main cabin and a fully accessible toilet. Trips are available from April to October, morning, afternoon, all day and in the summer months during the evenings. The trip can go either towards Poynton or towards Whaley Bridge dependant on the requirements of the party or at the skippers discretion. All parties must have at least one person who has a Special Educational Need, Physical or Sensory disability, Speech Language or Communication Need any age related need, eg mobility assistance. Based in Worsley our family run company operates cruises along the historic Bridgewater canal from Worsley village, Boothstown, Sale, Dunham Massey and beyond. Francis Egerton is a luxury wide beam passenger vessel that can accommodate up to 32 passengers. Fully central heated it enables us to operate all year round. Private charter is available for groups whether it be a special birthday, anniversary, hen party, wedding, corporate event, coach tour or just a group outing. For individuals we offer our very popular Sunday lunch and Afternoon tea cruises which depart regularly throughout the year. Whether you wish to sample our fine dining or just enjoy the heritage of this historic canal we can tailor a package which will make for a truly unique and magical experience.

We offer canoe, kayak, Stand Up Paddleboard trips on the river Mersey in South Manchester, and on canals in and around Manchester. Apneists UK club and school was established in 1999. It was formerly known as ‘The Manchester Freediving Group’. We have introduced many snorkellers and freedivers to Freediving through our school and we are continuously growing every year. We run courses through AIDA, BSAC, PADI and RAID systems of education. We have and UK and foreign trips throughout the year. If you aren't a qualified Freediver we can train you prior to any trips you may fancy.
