Mold Alehouse

Fantastic place for great quality beer, expertly cellared by the very knowledgeable landlord. It had a fantastic atmosphere pre-lockdown, friendly people, always plenty of laughter and great conversations. It has operated as a off-licence only since March and continues to offer a fantastic selection of beers on draught and in cans and bottles. Bring your own container for some lovely freshly poured keg beer!

Guinness doesn't travel they say, well it does to this boozer so shame on all the others who manage to ruin it. Best pint about. Fact. Its a top pub for Sport with Tele's everywhere, full of interesting wall memorabilia and a duke box with about a million songs to choose from. Outdoor area for the smokers and sun seekers which is really tidy which has the same TV facility and music as inside. A well kept pub which seems to keep the local hoodlums out, maybe its the pricing policy as it's dearer than the Spoons a few yards away. Put the prices up if that's the case its worth every penny.

Visited the raven yesterday and what a beautiful place ! A truly traditional village pub with lovely beer garden at the front looking onto the local church , Great real ales , very welcoming staff , the food was superb felt right at home , to have the village choir sing an impromptu rendition of hallelujah and here comes the sun sitting next to us outside was the icing on the cake , a very very pleasant afternoon spent with my wife at a lovely pub !
