Marine Discovery

Inspiring sea safari sailing trips aboard a ten metre catamaran, with the winners of the 2013 Responsible World Whale Watch Awards . A voyage on "Shearwater II" gives you the best opportunity to find the marine wildlife of south west Cornwall, including seals, porpoises, seabirds, dolphins, basking sharks and whales. All trips are fully guided with experienced and entertaining guides, who are trained educators. Shearwater II takes just 12 passengers and 2 crew, so you get a great view of the wildlife and the views without having to peer over other people. Please call or email to enquire. Fully licenced and insured NB please remember that sightings of specific species cannot be guaranteed and that we advertise this fact widely. Therefore the most useful and accurate reviews of our company rate us on the factors we can directly control e.g. customer service, politeness, ease of booking, quality of welcome and so on, rather than whether the reviewer saw the exact species they wanted. Marine Discovery is shut between November and March due to weather constraints and winter maintenance. If in doubt, call to check.

Bronte Walks

Discover Yorkshire with Brontë Walks. We offer tours, guides and so much more to make your visit to Yorkshire a memorable one. I am a Blue Badge Tourist Guide for Yorkshire and my love of the county and in particular Haworth and the moors that surround it is the inspiration for my work. I offer a wide range of guides walks, tours, support for tour companies, meet and greet services, day tours, drive tours and extended tours across the whole of Yorkshire. My job is to help you discover Yorkshire and all that it has to offer. The ‘Passionate Brontës’ is our acclaimed walking tour of Haworth that tells the story of the Brontë family. I use their letters, poems and writing to weave the story into the social fabric of the times. This is offered as either a scheduled walk that all are welcome to join, or as a private tour. It is the most wonderful prelude to visiting the Parsonage Museum. The times for these walks do vary and it is best to check when they are running.
