This basilica Sagrado Corazon de Jesus is an old church with gothic style located at the heart of San Salvador, and besiode the Central Market where you may find all and great variety of fresh products such as vegetables, candies, fruits, chickens, ducks birds, iguanas, flowers,You name it!. it is also located in front of Los Ilustres Cemetery.

I have to be honest, this place never interested me in the past, but i had to take my girlfriend, because she wanted to know more about the history of my country, and because of her, i found out this nice place full of history, it's such a beautiful building that it deserves a visit once in a lifetime of every citizen of this country. I hope they will restore it to it's full someday!

Juayua is a lovely town, with a positive vibe, which emanates from this central square and which is alive with locals, talking, singing, eating, and generally enjoying themselves. The music and extra food stalls are here every weekend so plan your visit accordingly and you won’t be disappointed.
