My husband and I were in Cape Town for a very spectacular wedding. We were staying near by the V&A waterfront and found ourselves walking by the Jack Friedman jewelry store multiple times eyes their collection of fine jewelry, particularly a leopard pave diamond ring. We had never seen anything like it - and had to go in to try it on. It was the most amazing piece we had ever seen....we had to have it. Sue greeted us with a warm welcome, told us the stories behind how the jewelry was designed and made and then of course, gave us the best deal she could offer. Sue gave us her card and we walked away to think about it. She called us the next day with the absolute best offer....and we ran straight back! I wore the ring that evening to the wedding and was stopped by everyone! It the most unique piece ever seen. So much so that my friend went back for a matching necklace and earings! Highly recommended.....go look at the amazing collections and see Sue!

I am extremely fortunate to have chosen Jack Friedman for our engagement ring. I received the best service one could hope for. I came to them with a unique request and Cassy went out of her way to make it all happen. She was truly amazing - even assisting me outside work hours. I cannot thank Cassy and Jack Friedman enough for everything especially since my request was not something they normally do. They are not lying when they say they will go the extra mile. Thank you Cassy, I couldn't be happier.

Really cool to combine this with Old Biscuit Mill for some great shopping opportunities. If I lived in Cape Town I could have bought so much for my house! Worth a visit for gifts (for others or yourself)

Used the spar as our go-to while staying in der waterkant neighborhood. We bought excellent freshly made sandwiches and baked potatoes along with cheese and pre-made soups. Made it easy to eat at the house at which we had rented. Know buying alcohol closed earlier than the store itself- and was at the store next door. The spar didn't seem to sell alcohol itself. Would recommend as a good cheap alternative if looking to take food away.

Everything under one roof that you need for your home of yourself. That goes from furniture to clothing. Food and cosmetics. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
