Had a coaching session with Trevor Price to bring me up-to-date with current fishing equipment and methods. A very positive experience throughout with friendly people, beautiful location, excellent coach and caught a dozen Carp to mark my return to fishing - a wonderful day.

Caldecotte Lake

Another lovely walk around a lake, well actually 2 lakes, north and south. Took about hour and half to walk around and was very pleasant. Lots to see, plenty of wildlife. Obviously a popular place, even on a cold and windy day.

Weston Turville Reservoir

Reviewed By Raino242 - Merseyside, United Kingdom

Had a lovely walk with our dog today at the reservoir. Really beautiful views! It was easy to park on the road outside, plenty of space and it was a Saturday. Such gorgeous surroundings for people and great environment for doggy’s. Some dogs were enjoying a swim and there are special areas for people who wish to fish. We will definitely be back to explore this place further. Highly recommend a walk here, a lovely day.

Furzton Lake

Reviewed By I5117CMjennyb

Furzton Lake is my favourite lake in Milton Keynes. It is great to visit with children as there are lots of ducks for them to see, as well as a playground and they can ride their bikes or scooters around it. The pub is handy for a drink or a meal and also has a playground attached. I love walking round the whole lake which I have done on the hottest day of the year and also when there was frost on the ground. Either way, it is lovely to be able to look right across the lake from different points on the walk. There is an information point near the star statue. Parking is a bit limited so I usually park in the car park just off the A5 (Watling Street) as there are always spaces there, maybe because it is a fair way from the pub!
