It has actually been many years since my vist (not in Mar 18). But since I lived nearby in the 1989-1991 time frame I visited many times. As a beer lover I have to say these monks know how to brew according to German law and tradition. The food was traditional German cafeteria style small plates like Bratwurst and hearty soups. I personally love German food and so I rate it excellent. There is great scenery and the opportunity to do some walking for pleasure. Take a chance and pay them a visit.
