Things to do in Berlin, Germany: The Best Nightlife

July 19, 2021 Nobuko Falco

Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

Laughing Spree Comedy

It's Comedy. On a Boat. On the Spree. Berlin's most scenic comedy show will brighten up your day and make you laugh. Laughing Spree Comedy is a weekly English comedy show, hosted by Comedian Chris Doering, with an extremely friendly atmosphere and some of Berlin's finest comedians, lots of guest comedians and the occasional first timer. And it's all for free, including compulsory free shots at the door! When? Every Monday Where? The Floating Lounge, Eastern Comfort Hostelboat (by East Side Gallery) When again? Doors open at 8pm, Show starts 8.30pm See you buoys and gulls aboard the ship. Keep on laughing!

I loved the location and atmosphere of this show. It's right next to the iconic East Side Gallery, and the Floating Lounge is an actual boat on the Spree. I loved being able to watch the sunset with a beer in hand in between the two halves of the show. And the show is nice and fast-paced. You get to see a lot of different comedians in a relatively short amount of time. This is a great thing to do before heading out to Friedrichshain bars for the night--the show puts you in a good mood for a good night out.

Biererei Bar & Vintage Cellar

Independent vintage beer cellar and bar all about good beer in Berlin-Kreuzberg. We serve 20 beers from tap to drink in or take away in crowlers (0,5 l cans). Our walkable fridge is filled up with a big selection of great hard to find beers that age to reach perfection. Cheers!

Biererei is one of the best places where you can always enjoy yourself with amazing selection of beers from locale as well as abroad. Cihan, the owner of Biererei, is friendly and very knowledgeable about beers, and a lot of wonderful beer geeks come together there to enjoy and share beers. At the same timeIt's a cozy place to stay by myown, too. I highly recommend to give a try. If you are too busy to see around Berlin, you would perhaps be better to go to get some beers with crowlers!

There is a 5 Euro entrance fee which is very reasonable! There is a free and safe clothing storage and the bar has loads of drinks and shots available :) Highly recommended for a fun night in Berlin!
