Things to do in Berlin, Germany: The Best Game & Entertainment Centers

December 13, 2021 Tynisha Seiler

Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

This was our first room at that place. We did the battle modus which we enjoyed. One group can actually hear the other to an extent because the rooms are next door. This was fun. The riddles are logical which we all appreciated. The rooms we saw were nicely decorated for the purpose. The location is somewhat original. Go there and enjoy!

This was our second escape room and our first VR one. We played several VR games before in Korea and really liked the combination of VR and Escape room puzzle. Two minor things that could be improved: Compared to the escape room we did before the story wasn't as captivating and some minor technical glitches (restart and failure of microphones for team communication) were a bit of a nuisance, but nevertheless we had a lot of fun as a team of four. Great entertainment for a family. We did it with our two boys (10 and 12).

Berlin Dungeon

Screaming and laughing through Berlin’s dark past. The Berlin Dungeon is a uniquely thrilling attraction that will whisk you way back into the city’s most perilous past. A journey through over 800 years of Berlin’s history – from the medieval times to the 20th century. See, hear, feel and (ahem) smell the chillingly amusing characters of the ‘bad old days’ as they come to life before you. Uncover the legend of the dreaded White Lady, wonder through the Labyrinth of the Hohenzollern and meet the most notorious serial killer Carl Großmann. Will you lose yourself in fear or in mirth? Whichever way, it’s not looking good for your underwear. Are you brave enough for the darkest drop into the unknown with Berlin‘s highest indoor freefall tower?

We were walking past this place and noticed. We did the google search and found that it would be a fun place to visit. Well from the time you walk into the first dungeon you are taken back in time when there is bad things like the plague etc. each section you go into is better then the last. If you want to be scared out of your pants then this is the attraction for you. Show your welcome card to get discounted tickets. Fun attraction to go to.

We did arrow tag which was organised through Mister Neo in Berlin which was incredibly fun and a different thing to do on a stag do. The organisation was great and the instructor we had was very relaxed and as well as organising some mini games, he also allowed us to just have fun. I would recommend doing this if you are looking for a different activity to do in a group.
