I have been working as a therapist since 2005, it is something I am very passionate about. My background is with Social Services and Reading Borough Council. I have always worked with people, but I wanted a change from working with older and disabled people.

Floating Point is Berkshire’s only dedicated Floatation Centre, Michael & Tina’s aim is to make a positive contribution to humankind by providing the tools to improve physical and mental wellbeing, whilst creating a safe environment for personal growth. They achieve this by using cutting edge technology to help people achieve more by doing less. This is delivered through the use of their Floatation Pods combined with brainwave entrainment audio and offering Neurofeedback sessions. Their clients range from those with chronic pain, stress and anxiety through to the British Rowing Athlete’s and GB’s Strongest Woman. They are also Associate Partners with British Rowing.

We first opened our doors in July 2006 and since then have welcomed more than 20,000 clients from Berkshire and beyond into our beloved Ayurveda Retreat in the heart of Reading. Open seven days a week and until 7pm weekdays, we are deeply committed to helping people improve their general health and wellbeing by offering a variety of massages, treatments and therapies. Many come to us seeking purely physical relaxation from their treatment but leave feeling mentally and emotionally much calmer, too.
