Bachelor's Acre

So nice to find a quiet area to sit and contemplate by the water fountain. Lovely play area for the children far enough away so not too noisy but in good line of sight. Nice clean toilet facility and ice cream shop too.

Whoosh Play Centre

A great three storey soft play, nice cafe and friendly staff. Under new management with lots of ambitions. There are also 2 party rooms.

Reviewed By sarahlouallen - London, United Kingdom

Went to whoosh today after going to the leisure centre for a different activity that was being held there today, and the children absolutely LOVED it. It is reasonably priced and the staff were all friendly. A 3 tier softplay structure, with one of the slides ending up in the ball-pit. The thing I loved MOST about this softplay, and I've been to many!! Is that there is even an area for babies on the bottom tier, with baby bouncers, walkers and other toys to interest babies. This is ideal, if like me sometimes u travel with a baby, a toddler and a 4 year old. Highly recommend this little gem of a place.

One of the best we've been to, our 2 year old loved it. As well as the usual soft play and ball pits there's also slides, a mini indoor football pitch, a bouncy castle and a really good cafe. The cafe serves 'proper' kids food (including cottage pie, veggie lasagne, jacket potatoes) as well as the usual chips and chicken nuggets. The whole place is spotlessly clean and well managed and we'll be back! Thankyou

Monkey Mates

Reviewed By angelard79

My daughter had her 5th birthday party at Monkey Mates this past weekend with 20 of her friends as an exclusive hire on Saturday night. Everything was perfect. The play centre was spotlessly clean and our party room was decorated in an amazing way! Party balloons, face masks, special plates for the food. The food and drinks served for the children was great and we also had the cafe open for parents to get hot and cold drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. The children all had a wonderful time and so did the parents! This was a stress free party and they charge well below what other play centres charge for exclusive hire. We will be booking another party next year for sure!

Have visited this area since childhood and still feels just as relaxing. Small park area for the children, leisure centre and river running through with lovely walks. Plenty of parking available. A pleasure.

The Mad House Soft Play and Party World

Reviewed By 170msb

Visited for the first time since lockdown began. Whole place looked spotless, felt very safe environment for myself (7 months pregnant) and my 2,5 yr old. Very young team (some not older than 16/17 I would say) who all wore face coverings and re-enforced the mask-wearing rules with everyone that attended. Young lad was constantly cleaning areas and all staff were friendly and extremely professional! What an asset to have staff like that! We were politely told our session was over, which I believe meant they could do a 'deep clean ' ready for the next session. Great morning for my little one, not too busy, and the drinks purchased were lovely and well presented. Well done!

Andrea was absolutely lovely to us. She keeps a beautiful soft play area and cafe, which are both brilliant. Highly recommend!
