Pawal and JB did a great job in teaching our 4 first time skiers ranging in age from 4 to 7. They were very patient over the week with them, including the children’s preference at times for building snowmen as opposed to riding the slopes!!! Thanks again.

I used Winterlab for my recent ski trip to Japan. I am an experienced and hungry skier. I go to Japan often and speak Japanese but I had never been skiing in Japan. Winterlab made my first, of many to come, experience great. Anna was super-responsive, patient, and informative from the start, and throughout. Oli, my guide and instructor, was amazing. Day 1, got a sense of my skiing but appropriate to what I wanted to do, Days 2 and 3, we just had at it. Back country, in trees, powder and more. He was also a great companion for 3 days. I highly recommend and would/will repeat!

Sam was an EXCELLENT teacher, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their time with him, and they progressed so quickly in such a short time! It was amazing how they were able to go down the reds after 3 days with him and only having had the experience of the kiddie school in Hanazone. The kids loved skiing between trees while learning the skills needed to go down the mountains. Sam made it look easy and he was always in such a great mood and super patient. We highly recommend him for families with kids, I'm sure he would have been fantastic teaching me as well. Thank you so much for assigning him to our family and we look forward to booking him and other Propeak instructors in the future. Definitely worth it!

huge thank you to the edVenture crew who took our four kids (all <4 y/o) out for three days on the slopes of niseko. our little first timers loved their first experience on skis, and to the parents' delight, not only were the kids able to ride down comfortably on the bunny slopes themselves by day 4, the edVenture team managed to keep the kids happy and pumped up for almost 7 hours (read: parents got almost 6 hours of slope time!). that latter point is easily worth a medal. incredible at being able to pack the four kids into a minibus and ship them off to the slopes with nary a whinge or whine from any of them. kids loved the instructors and were always stoked to go each morning. as guests of mnk orchards, the pickup/dropoff couldn't have been easier. if we HAD to nitpick, it'd have been nice to get pics of them on the slopes but i'm much happier having the instructors focus on the main task at hand (i.e. the kids) than feed some parents' IG cravings.

Finally decided to try snowboarding! Booked a 2-day private lesson through GoSnow, and was paired up with my snowboarding instructor Matt Dannenberg, which in my opinion, is the best instructor one can have for their first experience! He’s patient, fun, polite and encouraging! He even gave my boyfriend some free tips on his snowboarding when he coasted by to say hi! Matt puts his student’s safety first, gives great instructions that are practical, clear, and easy to understand. He took time to identify my learning style (i.e. explaining by theory, demonstration or both…etc). But what I appreciated the most was the way he encouraged and reassured me on the slopes, and gave me the confidence to challenge myself! I had the best time – in two days, I successfully learnt toeside and heelside falling leaf, J & S turns, and even some super slow 360’s and a hop or two! I cannot thank Matt enough for the sickest time on the slopes – it’s safe to say I have officially switched over from skiing to snowboarding!
