Bushes need to be trimmed as they were covering the English sign so we could not find the hotel upon arrival at night. Overall, this was a good place for my wife and I for a last minute trip to Sokcho.

Reviewed By Craig LWe stayed here for five days over Christmas and cannot rate the level of service high enough. The hosts are brilliant and arranged ski equipment, passes and took us to the slopes each day as well as picking us up. Nothing was too much trouble - we simply cannot recommenced the accommodation or the generosity of the owners enough.

Reviewed By vamp4uI stayed here for a night because of the Copany Workshop. We did some biz review then went out for dinner. After I came back to my room, I just went to sleep. I felt strage around my right leg side while I was asleep. Work up then looked around. I saw wet blanket & sheet. There was a leak from the air conditioner installed right above my bed. Couldn't turn it off either. So, I came out to sleep at the living room for rest of the night. Room set up is okay. I had a good view of golf course. Didn't have chance to look around in the resort. If you are going to golf there, it ain't to bad.

Reviewed By happywanderingHCMy Husband and I stayed in the 'VIP' apartment on the top floor of Pension Basso with our two young children. We stayed in this room by pure coincidence but we were so happy we did! The apartment is a great size with two bedrooms, perfect for a family. The apartment even comes with a sauna and hot tub on the balcony! The children particularly enjoyed the hot tub! The apartment is very well equipped and an enjoyable place to spend time with the family. Pension Basso is run by a truly lovely couple who could not be more helpful. Their English is good and they were wonderful and patient with our young children. A simple yet beautifully presented breakfast is prepared each morning in a lovely room complete with board games and an extensive collection of the latest and greatest DVD's. We haven't been particularly impressed with the quality of Bed and Breakfasts or Air B and B options in Korea, Pension Basso is a unique find, we would love to return. My only note is that the beds are Korean style firm, we were fine for two nights but I do like a softer bed! The other plus points are the fact you can watch the sunrise from the ocean in the distance from the top floor terrace. The Pension is within easy walking distance to the rocky beach and pleasant area to stroll along the seafront. We travelled to Seoraksan National Park and Pension Basso is about a 10 minute drive to the car park for the cable car. Emart is also only a 10-15 minute drive away. I highly recommend a weekend away at Pension Basso and Seoraksan!

Nice room with high ceiling and spacious layout
Reviewed By Richard LMy family of 4 (including 2 teenager) stayed at this hotel for our December skiing trip in Pyeongchang-gun. The hotel rooms were excellent and with a built-in kitchenette. Hotel staff were really hospitable despite their lack of spoken English. Downside is no food available but you can always buy a nearby convenience store and heat it up wit micro oven. Laundry facility is available and especially needed for washing soiled clothing’s from the ski trips. However transport to hotel is not so convenient. We took a shuttle to the Pheonix park resort from the train station but waking with heavy luggage for the 1km is quite a challenge. For the return trip we decided to take a taxi instead of walking. Back to Pheonix park resort but since we had 4 luggage, we needed to boom two taxis as they do not have enough luggage space for 4 in the boot. Other than this, Wen had a splendid stay at the Storey Residence.

Reviewed By kim9world힐링여행을 위해 1박 2일 남편과 홍천 까미노 데 플로레스타에 방문했어요. 도착하자마자 룸컨디션과 창밖의 풍경을 보고 감탄만 나왔습니다. 침실에 보이는 홍천강의 모습이 너무 멋있고 야외 온수풀과 야외 제트스파에서 바라본 경치도 너무 좋았어요. 추운 날씨에 노천탕과 같이 즐길 수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 하나하나 모든 것에 신경써서 준비했다는 느낌을 받았네요. 블루투스로 노래들으며 잘 쉬다 왔습니다. 화장실에 필수 어메니티도 준비되어 있더라구요. 클렌징폼 정도만 챙겨가시면 될 것 같아요. 그리고 조식이 진짜 최고에요. 레스토랑처럼 고급스럽게 셋팅해주시고, 카페가 너무이쁘게 가드닝이 되어있어서 카페에서 쉬면서 경치를 바라봐도 좋더라구요. 사장님과 매니저분 서비스도 참 좋았습니다. 크게 기대하고 간 건 아닌데 예상보다 너무 호화스럽게 쉬다와서 만족스러웠습니다. 매년 힐링하러 찾아갈 것 같네요.
