The tourist complex is located on the right Bank of the mountain river Katun. The complex is located in a pine forest in a very picturesque place of the Altai mountains. All the houses are built of logs. The complex offers accommodation in 4 comfortable cottages with 22 rooms, capacity of 56 people (44 core + 12 additional seats) and 39 Alpine summer houses, with a capacity of 123 people. On the territory there are arbors. Next to each there is a stationary grill, which you can also use for free. Also on site a restaurant, 2 bath, rental service, Billiards, table tennis, conference room with equipment design (60 seats), sightseeing and other entertainment.

Reviewed By EvyBeeWe travel a lot (all 7 continents so far), in various hotel categories. We spent 2 nights at Orlinoe Gnezdo after our Altai tour and we loved it! The territory is clean and well kept, the houses are very quaint, and in each there are just a few rooms so its private enough to feel like in a small scale bed and breakfast. 1) The grounds: Wonderful forresty area, right at the Katun river, with many places to sit and enjoy a wonderful view of the Katun river. Picknick areas, swings. Very children friendly, playground, pool (in summer), various accommodation options from little houses, to apartments to normal rooms. There is also a restaurant, banya and a spa on the grounds. 2) Rooms: We had the standard rooms in the Russian building and it was very nice. The standard room is not very large, but cosy, has a balcony, a small table and 2 chairs, a pitcher and glasses, cups. Bathroom is modern and unlimited hot water (in the Altai area and Russia in general that can be an issue often!). Shampoo and soap provided, hair dryer also in the room. Thick and quality comforter blanket, clean sheets, overall very clean interior (you leave your shoes in a cupboard at the entrance of each house to keep the interior clean). TV, free wifi. 3) Restaurant: Very nice restaurant with panoramic windows, not facing the river but the nature around. The food was surprisingly amazing, something I would compare with world fine cuisine, which was very unexpected but very welcome to us! The vegetarian dishes are a must try, this is probably the best vegetarian/vegan things I ever tried (cawliflower pure, pumpkin pure and cabbage steak! (Yes that is good). They also have a wide range of meat dishes, venison, pasta, Russian dishes - we ate there 2 dinners and 1 lunch, tried several dishes and they all were amazing and wonderfully prepared and flavorful! Breakfast is buffet style, changes a bit every day, warm dishes as well. Restaurant staff is very professional and friendly! Prices are very reasonable as well. 4) Spa: We treated ourselves to spa treatments, neck massage, thai foot massage and the fitobocka (herbal barrel) with salt scrub afterwards. Very nice spa center, very friendly and professional staff also at the spa and the prices are very reasonable (especially comparing to Moscow prices). We plan to return and value the amazing service of really all of your employees that we encountered (from the cleaning lady, to receptionist to spa staff to restaurant staff...), the professional attitude, the lovely hotel complex and the wonderful surroundings! Thank you!

Great place to choose for your Olkhon island trip

We had an amazing stay for a great value: private bathroom with 24h hot shower(towels are provided), super soft and comfy bed, beautiful design and fresh wooden aroma in the rooms. Very clean! You can see that the owners (btw very nice, friendly and helpful family) are taking really good care of their hotel. There's a spacious dining room as well, you can ask the owner to use their kitchen fridge to store your food, to microwave it or get some boiled water - very convenient for a long stay. Breakfast can be provided for extra fee if requested - we had a fulfilling breakfast with a cold plate, omelette/porridge and coffee/tea on your choice, coming along with pancakes for the desert, yum! More than enough to get the energy for your adventures. The location is pretty close to the lake Baikal shore, so you can just take a walk to the beach. Hotel owners will help you to arrange different sightseeing excursions around the island. As a local, I would say that this hotel is the best option for your exciting trip to lake Baikal, so don't hesitate to book the place and start your own Olkhon story!

Nice place to relax
Reviewed By y_ivanovGood location at the Mountain Altay. Easy to get by car. Located in the pine forest along Sema river with two springs inside the territory. The camp consists from log houses of different ranks: standard, luxury & VIP. VIP are the best one because it are two separate buildings with full own facilities (WC!). In general the camp has very natural & a little bit mystery architecture. Own cooking is rather tasty, but note that the camp doesn't have any other drinks (incl alcohol) except locally made. The camp also has special pavilions for BBQ. Wi-Fi is available in the main building only. In general it is a nice place to spend vacations with family & friends. Staff is polite & helpful, but I’m not sure they speak English well.

Reviewed By M826LX_"Кедровый хутор" - наша любимая база на Алтае. Были здесь три раза и обязательно приедем ещё. Джунгли из лиственниц и лиан, ручные кролики, симпатичные и уютные домики, Катунь в непосредственной близости, беседки, пахнущие деревом, уединённость и отзывчивый персонал - нам тут очень нравится. Отличная баня, удобный зал для занятий (мы ездим большой группой, и нам он очень пригождается). Каждый уголок хочется сохранить в памяти, увезти с собой. Отдельное спасибо администратору Александру. Очень дружелюбный человек. Решал все наши маленькие проблемы легко, быстро и с улыбкой. И повар Елена Анатольевна всегда стремилась нас вкусно накормить. Человеческое отношение, плюс невероятная природа, плюс комфортное проживание - всё это на "Кедровом" есть. Вся наша группа (28 человек) осталась от базы в восторге. Обязательно сюда вернёмся.

Our hotel is located in the heart of the SEZ "turquoise Katun", just 200 meters from the artificial lake, as well as the Katun river, nature reserve, restaurants, souvenir shops, Tavdinsky caves and many other beautiful places. We offer You comfortable accommodation with free: large swimming pool, outdoor cinema, gazebos, barbecue grills and skewers, Breakfast and good WI-FI in the rooms and throughout.

Reviewed By Marty BStayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are nice and clean with good comforts. The grounds are not much to look at and rather small. The pool is what people have in their backyards. The free breakfast is rather disappointing too. A decent location but there are better hotels in the area with more to offer Too expensive for what you get

Wonderful trip to Altai

Late paying our bill, wanting meals outside the set times, abruptly requesting packed lunches, asking for events to be organised and then cancelling. However, nothing is ever a problem for the owner and his family, who just smile warmly and remain ever helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, the food home made and of good quality and the staff excellent. We had a great time. Beautiful setting by the river, homely and relaxing. An amazing host, who cannot do enough for his guests. Exceptionally clean, modern and well equipped rooms. Wifi is slow and unreliable in places Top floor rooms are very warm in summer

Reviewed By Alexey2005Адмирал тут такой один. Огромная территория, кругом вода, множество видов активностей, водных и не только. Все, что угодно! Можно заказать теплоход и на полдня сходить по живописнейшим местам, виды неописуемые. Приличный завтрак и вполне достойный ресторан на ужин. На противоположном берегу-баня на воде, попарился-нырнул, великолепно. Номер просторный, места много, огромный балкон с таежным свежим воздухом.
