Reviewed By 448radhikasA lovely hotel - couldn't have asked for a better location. Super close to the market square and souk. We were greeted with hot mint tea and delicious biscuits. The staff were very helpful in us planning our day and transfers etc. The desk staff are particularly friendly and helpful, as is Oussama. The desk staff recommend we take their taxi shuttle services to all locations for safety - we later found during check-out that these were considerably more expensive (£20 for a £5 ride in some occasions) and we decided to use a mix of this with the local transport. Aside from this - fantastic breakfast, comfy rooms and would definately stay here again.

We take great pleasure to welcome you to Riad Smara, named after the mythical city of Saints and Sheikhs in Morocco. We are a gentle level walk of seven minutes from the famous Spice Square and another few minute walk will bring you to the world famous square Jemaa El Fna. Inside the Riad it’s an oasis of calm where you will be met with complimentary mint tea, drinks by the pool or on the rooftop terrace.
Wonderful stay at peaceful Riad Smara, 11/10 would recommend.

Although the riad is located near the main square and the surrounding streets are very busy, once you are inside, you do not hear anything. It’s a very cosy and magical place with a pool for swimming, the terrace gives a great opportunity to watch sunsets. Our room was equipped with everything that we needed. Very clean with excellent service. On top of that, George and Kim are very kind and welcoming hosts who helped us greatly as this was our first trip to Marrakech. They gave us a lot of important tips. No emotional damage caused.

Reviewed By NanitooDelarosa is a fancy hotel with a nice ambience. However the level service is not up to par. We asked if we can have an early breakfast because we were leaving to the airport the next day at 6:30 am and breakfast starts at 7:30. The receptionist was nice and said he spoke to the chef and that it would be ready by 6am. But we get there and there was no one and no food just the coffee machine. And when the waiter came 15 minutes later he prepared take out for the other couple that came after us and ignored us. When we asked him he said we had to wait till 7:30! We told him that we had this arranged from last night, then he got us yogurt but said he can’t give us spoon ?

Reviewed By SueallovertheworldIf you’re looking for an authentic Riad, in a good location, with the most friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, look no further. We booked a taxi from the airport through the Riad before we arrived which I would absolutely recommend doing. Cost 15 euros. The driver rang the Riad manager on our arrival and he came and met us. The Riad is situated down a couple of pedestrianised streets and we certainly wouldn’t have found it had we not been accompanied by Soufiane. He was extremely informative, nothing was too much and despite our late arrival, we were welcomed with a pot of the most delicious mint tea (you must try it!). The Riad is exceptionally clean and traditionally decorated. The roof top terrace is a welcome escape and we managed a few hours of sun bathing up there, as well as taking breakfast up there each day. The Riad breakfast is perfect. We were served pancakes, fresh bread (Moroccan bread is so tasty), yoghurt with jam, honey and butter. To drink, we had a pot of coffee and a pot of mint tea. Our room was cleaned each day. We couldn’t have asked for more. We are so pleased we chose to stay in a Riad rather than a hotel. We really feel like we sampled Moroccan life. The Riad is a short walk (max 10 mins) from the Badi palace. A slightly longer walk takes you to the Bahia palace. We spent 2 days exploring the Medina on foot and took in all the sights. The Riad is in a great location in the Medina, being 20 minutes from the Djeema FNA square. Would thoroughly recommend this Riad. The hosts are simply the best!

The host Hicham did not only welcomed us very kind and lovely, he also helped us whenever he could and gave us recommendations for trips and restaurants. His Riad was also very fine: it was clean, had lovely furnishings and the breakfast was made with love. We are happy that you and your Family hosted us Hicham. See you next time :)

Wonderful 4 night stay
Reviewed By Maps572793Absolutely fantastic stay! Its really hard to fault this lovely Riad... Great location, beautiful rooms, lovely terrace with a nice hot plunge pool, decent breakfast. Additional services are available - massage, dinner, booking of excursions etc. It even smells incredible! Location is great - Big square and souks are only 10 min walk or so. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Can be a little confusing to navigate, but that's the same everywhere on the medina! Google maps is your friend! The staff and service were some of the best I've ever experienced. Genuinely nice people who are always willing to help. They made us feel very welcome! 100% would recommend.

Charming Riad with great location
Reviewed By PMC-V23This small Riad is ideally located near Jemaa El Fna. We were warmly welcomed with a Moroccan tea and cookies. The decoration is nice and it has several charming terraces. Our quadruple deluxe room was located on the 1st floor and composed of 2 twin bed rooms and a very nice bathroom. It is very quiet despite the nearby call to prayer at 6.30am but it doesn't last long. A minor thing are the numerous wall cracks which need to be fixed. Great value for money and excellent breakfast.

Riad Zahri is located in Riad Zitoun Lkdim street on the heart of Marrakech Media, just a 5-minuite-walk from Jamaa El Fna Square. Medina is a great choice for travelers interested to markets, streets, monument, museum and shopping. This house is a perfect example of traditional Moroccan Riad constructed with handcraft arts and smooth colored Tadlakts (stucco), and provide a Moroccan salon with a fire place.

Laundry was convenient and affordable and you can’t beat the Riad’s location. It was only a few minutes’ walk from the Riad to the main square with only one turn. Decor was superb, service fantastic.
