Getting its name from the medieval Duchy of Limburg (now split among Holland, Belgium and Germany and the birthplace of the infamously pungent Limburger cheese), Limburg is the Netherlands’ southernmost region. Many of the area’s best attractions are concentrated in the capital of Maastricht, but other sights include the 12th-century Valkenburg castle ruins, the 17th-century Eijsden castle, the 20th-century Glaspaleis (built next to a medieval church at Heerlen), and De Meinweg National Park.

During my first week in Amsterdam i decided to come to Venlo a small city 2 hrs ( aproximately from Amsterdan Central) very nice hotel and the man who is working over there was really friendly. They took me the breakfast in the morning to the room ( delicious breakfast) and they was very understanding with me when i was getting late to leave the room for the c/o. I really suggest this hotel if you are thinking about to travel to Netherlands once.

Reviewed By joram13Met mijn vader naar arcen geweest voor de Hertog Jan fabriek en overnacht in deze heerlijke B&B. Echt een aanrader. Heerlijke bedden. Lekkere douche. Goed ontbijt met alles er op en aan. En de eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ons een dikke 10!

Reviewed By NinaB2769Heerlijke, gezellige accomodatie. We sliepen in de Arcade (zonder privé-hottub). Prachtige locatie! Aanrader! Vriendelijke service en lekker eten. Een rit met de e-scooter is ook aan te raden. 's Avonds ook heel gezellig met de vuurkorf :)

A really good B&B
Reviewed By Tim PA really good bed & breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and clean and the attention to detail is excellent. A full continental breakfast is served on a trolley in the room offering a wide choice and plenty of it. The B&B is easy walking distance from the historic centre of Maastricht. The owners are very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.

In Restaurant Parkzicht kunt u genieten van heerlijke mediterraanse en traditionele specialiteiten, klaargemaakt en geserveerd door een gepassioneerd en vriendelijk team. De authentieke gerechten worden bereid in een open keuken waar ook de 'Forno a Legna' (houtgestookte steenoven) staat. In de zomermaanden waant u zich op het grote en sfeervol aangeklede tuinterras meteen in 'La bella Italia'. Bij de betaalbare gerechten en pizza's worden passende en smaakvolle Zuid-Europese wijnen geserveerd.

Reviewed By Mart JWij hebben met vrienden erg lekker gegeten bij Parkzicht. Een uitstekende kaart en alles lekker bereid. Helaas was de bediening nogal rommelig. Bovendien was het buitengewoon rumoerig. Kortom, eten een aanrader, ambiance helaas niet....

Reviewed By 411ringwoodWhat a beautiful place , lovely garden and amazing breakfast , we just loved it. We had the loft room , it was huge with a super bathroom in the room. We had an amazing stay here for the André concert, so so friendly , so clean. location is also goon , a little walk into town , we took taxi to train station from here cost €16 but hard walk with a suitcase so worth it. Thank you for making us so welcome

B&B Ferme Knaapen has 2 guestrooms with each its own bathroom. The bedrooms each have a double bed which can be separated into 2 single beds. Tv is also present. In the bathrooms towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are included.There is a garden room with terrace where breakfast is served. Coffee/tea equipment is present. The B&B is separated from the owners living area. Private parking and close-able shed for cycles.

Reviewed By oscar030511958A small B&B in a beautiful country setting. The B&B has two 2-persons rooms, which are both the same. The B&B is very private, because you're not staying in the house with the owners.The rooms each have a private bathroom. There is a gardenroom where breakfast is served and a there's a cosy private terrace. The nights were very silent, I even heard an Owl.

Lovely stay, nice hotel houses
Reviewed By Wouter0001Comfortable & clean houses with luxury shower. Nice fresh breakfast brought to the doorstep. All in a very nice nature area; great for walking and we cycled also to Roermond town. A very relaxed weekend.
