Reviewed By Dom21076The very spacious, clean and comfortable room with a terrace absolutely met our needs. Only positive things to say about it. The swimming pool is great and offers a relaxing experience. The place can be quite noisy in the evening as it organizes parties and events. There was one at the time of our stay but it did not create any real inconvenience. Breakfast in the morning was not great however; food was just average; we could have done without it. Overall, a good experience.

Lovely intimate old Thai style hotel
Reviewed By _B7103TZThis lovely little hotel consists of only 6 rooms. All the rooms (terraced houses) have a direct view to the lake. Directly outside the rooms there are tall trees and flowers, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and cake outside at a little table and also enjoy the splendid view of the lake. The owner is a very kind old granny who will do her best to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. Rooms are a bit small and furnished with old Thai wooden furniture. Bed mattress is a bit to the hard side. The hotel and the furniture and the tv and the aircon/ fans are not new, but it all has character and atmosphere. Bathroom is clean and basic with a shower and a toilet. The hotel has actually changed its name to Rimthan View Resort. There are restaurants and cafe’s nearby along the lake. We experienced no noise issues during our stay and had a good and quiet night.

You will be received, served, treated in a family and welcome atmosphere; All this to make your stay the best you never had in a foreign country.All our private "de luxe" bungalows are totally new and like the photos shows. Some are with king size bed and some are with two separate beds, each one has 24 m2 room space with TV, free internet Wi-Fi, fridge, air conditioned, roof ventilator and a large bathroom european style with a big shower place, everything colorfully decorated and built in contemporary Issan style with a touch of farang influence.

Reviewed By GORDYU4343SLThe resort owner was very rude and arrogant The food was very expensive The resort was too far from everything Many areas of the resort does not look like the photos The rooms are ok but the overall experience here was not good I would not recommend this resort, I would recommend one of the other resorts in the area.

A very nice hotel at in great location
Reviewed By Nol PI just stayed there with my father at this small but charming hotel. It is by the Mekong river not far from the confluence of the Mun river and therefore we can easily spot the two color river. The room is not big but is well equiped and nicely decorated. There's not many facilities there as this is a very small hotel. There is one small swimming pool, which is very well maintained and I used it alone in the afternoon and in the morning. I also tried swimming in the river as well and it is quite a new experience. It is unfortunate that we didn't have a chance to have dinner there, which must have been very nice to eat while seeing the sunset on the Mekong. The hotel provided good breakfast for us. The owners are very hospitable and respectable people. I hope I would have a chance to stay there again.

Grounds and facilities are well maintained and the staff and management make extra efforts to provide whatever guests need or want. The resort has both older rooms and recently renovated rooms, and beautiful villas. Pretty much all have great views of the river. Excellent comfortable beds. Wonderful terrace dining area, especially nice for breakfast overlooking the Mekong. They also have a coffee shop and nearby Cotton Village to explore.

Reviewed By 255100Scotty68This place must have been truly a Jewel of the Orient in its day, truly amazing place with lovely grounds , the building and interior truly fantastic Sadly with the lack of maintenance care and love it is not the place it once was. The rooms clean but need some make over, the staff really need to get their act together, extremely unhelpful and unpleasant in their manner. I would love to visit this hotel again especially if it was maintained the way it once was.
