Reviewed By smoenchWe were staying in a villa close by, but were allowed to use the facilities of the hotel almost daily for the passed two weeks. We had several relaxing massages, delicious breakfast and dinner and even were able to use the laundry service. Thanks to the most friendly staff around we always felt very welcome as if we would be staying in house. The food is to mention - there are two menues, the standard one with Indonesian and international food, all very tasty AND the ’health menue’ with the most delicious dishes, from all day breakfast treats like Chiaglasses with fresh fruit or rosemary eggs with avocado on sourdough bread to the most delicious dishes like Quinoa Salad, RA Lasagne (all vegetable/vegan) and bowls! And if you like chocolate- the ’jungle chocolate’ is a must! Next time we visit the north of Bali, we definitely stay in this beautifully kept little place!

Reviewed By AVP180181We (2 friends) have had a great time at Holiway Garden Resort in Sept 2019. The place is really beautiful and right at the sea. Our Villa was very spacious and the terrace was great to sit at while listening to the waves. The yoga classes with Tanja and the massages and pedicure at the spa were amazing, the food delicious and Maria and her team really nice hosts. We felt at home and enjoyed our time very much. If we visit Bali again some day, we will definitely come back!

Reviewed By AlaskanSharonThe deluxe room was glorious! Cili Emas is older, so the gardens are lush and mature. The space has a sensory presence that feels like healing, serenity and wisdom. And I’m not one to ever sound that flakey! They thought of everything- when we arrived after a hot ride on our scooters, we were greeted with juice and a cold, aromatic cloth. It smelled and felt so good! At the room, we found umbrellas on the porch if needed, ear plugs by the bed if nature is too loud, two large water pitchers and glasses, replaced daily. The pool was just behind us, the dining hall in front, followed by the beach. The kelapas on the beach are a wonderful place to read a book and listen to the waves. We went to Les Waterfall and had a wonderful day out. Make sure to stop off at Gede’s Warung in the Jungle for great chocolate treats! The staff are so incredibly sweet and helpful! Thank you, Made and Sistri! And Made, the masseuse, will find the spots even you did not know about! Get the rebalancing massage!! After all that, The one hour+ drive back to Lovina is filled with beachside beauty!

Amazing, wonderful secret spot
Reviewed By MGNYCMy family of 4 (2 adults, a teenager, and a 9-year old) stayed at Alam Mimpi from August 2-6, 2017 -- and it was perfect. And the funny thing is, we found it totally by accident! We had plans to go to Sanur and Nusa Lembogan, but the weather in the south looked rainy. So we headed north where the forecast looked sunny and bright, figuring we would find a place to stay in Lovina or a neighboring town. Instead, based on only 1 review, we booked Alam Mimpi -- and it was literally the best part of our 3 week Bali trip. We were greeted warmly by the excellent staff (thank you Ari and co!), and shown to a lovely, well-appointed bungalow with 2 separate rooms with great A/C. Since we were the only guests at the place, we had the lovely pool and gorgeous grounds to ourselves. It was really like having a private villa with a staff of 6 to ourselves! But even that doesn't capture how wonderfully we were treated. It was like we were family. They cooked us amazing breakfasts (scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit plates, wonderful croissants and fresh bread), and even more amazing dinners (balinese chicken, ikan pepe (fresh fish cooked in banana leaves)). We loved the food -- even after numerous foodie experiences in Ubud and Seminyak, the meals at Alam Mimpi felt special and cooked with love. The owners, Nana and Made, rented us motorbikes that we rode to secret waterfalls, took us on a tour of Singaraja and Lovina, arranged for our transport to Nusa Dua -- and were wonderful to talk with about Balinese history and culture. The resort sits on rocky beach, but just 10 meters out is great snorkeling -- and they provide masks, flippers and water shoes to navigate the rocks. We recommend Alam Mimpi to anyone who wants to experience the "real" Bali -- a quiet, family-oriented, warm paradise with great people, awesome food, and fun adventures.

New Luxury Boutique Oceanside Villas. We are located in North Bali and considered to be true Authentic Bali, very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The perfect area to be and still close enough to explore the rest of the island. We have 4 bedrooms or rent the entire property. Enjoy free breakfast, highspeed internet, pool, diving and snorkeling. We have a staff of 4 and a manager.

Huge garden, big super comfy rooms, amazing food (cooked by the staff and we are picky), super nice pool, and of course a nice swimmable beach right next to the garden (you open the gate, and here you are). Super quiet (don't expect any kind of outside animation), and we had an amazing quality family time there. We highly recommend the place and will be back very soon. One, if not, the best villa where we have been in Bali!!
